Surgery in 2 weeks, starting to get nervous

Hi guys

I'm scheduled for surgery with Eid on Dec. 16. Starting to get scared as fuck. I have a diagnosed venous leak and definetly some damage to the base of my dick (ligaments, fascia or whatever), but i still can get erections. They are short lived and wobbly, especially at the base. I know they are not really usable for decent sex and make me prone for more injury if i go at it it like this, but still, doubt is creeping in.

Injections are not an option for me. Pills are not enough. Ligament surgery will stabilize my base, but won't help erection quality, according to Dr. Ralph, which has the most experience in the world with this surgery. He said the implant would take over for the damaged ligament too.

It's really hard for me right now to not cancel the surgery, eventhough i probably need the implant.

How did you guys handle the anxiety and doubt creeping in?

Any opinions / advice highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Please do yourself a favor and just go through with this. You're clearly in good hands with Dr. Eid and clearly you're not satisfied with your current erections quality. Timing pills and injections is not fun, eventually they won't work either.

By the way, I also have a loose suspensory ligament and the Titan gives me all the stability that I need.

Get yourself implanted with Eid. You definitely won't look back after your healed.

And are you sure that the operation of the ligament will not improve the quality of erection? The ligament is not just for stability. It also serves as a natural penis ring that restricts blood flow. There are many reports of this. A torn or loose ligament can DEFINITELY cause a venous leak. Ralph is a specialist, but he still prefers implants to ligament surgery.

I agree, i read that too. The ligament definetly plays a big role in erection quality. Problem is, they can't really fix the ligament itself (If the ligament is torn completely). What they do is, the stich your dick (tunica) to the pubicbone. I agree with you, but according to Ralph the surgery won't restore the original function. I tend to believe him on this. And the ligament surgery is not without risk too. Dorsal nerve damage is possible. Eid advised against it.
But who knows.. Very hard decision to make..

Why not get an MRI to find out if your ligament is completely destroyed

Nervousness is obviously natural but rest assured it will be ok. I had implant surgery on October 24th. The recovery went really well and I was back to work a week later. My surgeon does not have you cycle for four weeks and I could not make an appointment during the fourth week to see him (Thanksgiving) so I was just in Monday of this week to learn what to do. I am still getting the hang of it and think I lost less than half an inch in length but am in no pain or discomfort and would recommend this anyone who (like me) had complete impotence. I am a recent widower so I don't have anyone to try it out with (yet) and had the surgery done now in preparation for dating again in January. I am sure I will be happy with it once it gets used as well.

I had my surgery June 1st and even laying in the hospital bed prior to surgery, I was ready to change my mind. Any surgery causes concern and self questioning "did I make the right decision?"

You did your homeworks and are going to a great doctor. You will be fine and your reluctance is expected and natural but it will work out.

Love my implant. I hve had more sex in a couple of months than I had in the 20 years prior

I was nervous as hell since it was my first surgery as an adult, at 68 years old! I also knew nothing about implants and went in blind. All I worried about was the ability to get erections again, which my surgeon promised I would.
Finally found Frank Talk 5 months after getting implanted just as I was getting used to the new me.
Even though my healing was tough, I'd do it again. It's been the best thing ever.
Relax and go. Once you heal up you will love it.

Indeed,

I agree with all the comments before mine but let me add a few thoughts. I know at your age and having so many years of life ahead of you, your mind comes up with all kinds of what if scenarios, much more so a man of my age, 78.

You are in the hands of one of the premier implant doctors in the nation, your hard work is done, you have made your decision, now, you must submit to the expertise of your talented surgeon. You will drive yourself crazy if you insist on running all the what ifs through your mind.

Because of all my research on FT, from the moment I said to my surgeon, "Let's do it" my mind was at ease, and I knew I had made the right decision. You too have made the right decision. Two months from now you will be on FT advising your brothers here to not worry about the surgery, not to worry about the recovery, not to worry about having orgasms, not to worry about what the women will think, because you will be using your dick carefree.

Above all Indeed, don't get wrapped around the axle about size, you might come out a little smaller, a little bigger, or about the same size, it doesn't matter, you will have a working dick. That is all that matters!
