For those who already have the implant,
i had surgery a little over 2 1/2 weeks
is the pump supposed to be pretty fixated in your scrotum or should it be more loose?
wondering because it constantly presses against mine and its hurting the skin from the inside quite a little after i take walks for 15 min because i feel its pressing strongly against it.
also hurts when i touch the skin where i feel the bulb through it.
just wondering if this is normal.
thanks guys!

Re: Question about Implant Pump
Congrats and welcome to the brotherhood.
My bulb/pump concerned me too initially. It eventually migrated to the most perfect and comfortable of spots, so it is loose and easy to get to and cycle.
I am confident that you and the new implant are still shaking hands and dapping - your pump will eventually find its way to a comfy spot that he'll call home.
It took at least 8 months for me to become completely comfortable and not notice the pump anymore. Today, at the year-and-a-half mark, it is in a perfect spot (behind my balls/back of the scrotum). It didn't start there, I didn't notice it moving, but that's where it ended up and it's great, for me.
So I think you are normal my brother. What you have today is not what you'll have months from now and I personally feel it will only get better.
Enjoy the ride over the next few months, figuratively and literally, lol.

Re: Question about Implant Pump
Igot,
Trust me, at 2 1/2 weeks this is not an issue, you have a lot of healing to go, you are still swollen and inflamed. At 4 weeks I had my first return visit with my doctor's PA and he cleared me to begin to cycle. I tried it a few times and it was so painful I decided to wait another week, when I tried it again there was a big difference in the inflammation and not nearly as painful. At 4 weeks after inflating a couple times it literally felt like my scrotum was on fire. I didn't lose a thing by delaying a week, so don't worry about it if you have to do the same.
At first I thought my pump was installed way too high and too far back. Now that I am healed and all that swelling has subsided, I think my pump is in the perfect place. Everything is going to feel different and better a few weeks from now, don't worry about it, you sound completely normal to me.

I believe that you are suppose to gently push the pump to where you want it. I pushed mine down and to the back.
Venous Leakage (which I believe caused by my overuse of the Bathmate VED)

Congrats on joining the bionic brotherhood!
Sounds like the new kid in town and your two boys don't like each other, yet. Your surgery was pretty recent and I guess things are still swollen and sore. It took me a couple months to be able to handle my pump without soreness.

Re: Question about Implant Pump
After my surgery my Doctor told me to pull down on the pump to get it more into my scrotum.
It dose hurt to pull down, I've been doing a gentle tug for a few mins everyday.
The pump is now more lose and lower in my scrotum.

Started with Viagra at age 40. Worked good for about 12 years.
Tried Trimix injections, worked great for about 8 years
Now Trimix no longer works.
I got implant on Oct 26th 2022.

My surgery was on the same date as yours. I’m going through similar things. Scrotal skin is still sore especially where the pump rests against it. Glans is sensitive and I get twinges on the shaft from the dog ears. My pump was stuck to the RH testicle for the first 2 weeks but my Doctor freed that when he removed the stitches. I guess ideally the pump should float freely but sticking to something early on is frequently mentioned here on FT and resolves in time.
I think it’s all part of the normal healing process and time will be the doctor.

I made an appointment for next week, i think mine is stuck on the skin from the inside aswell, at least feels like that. Hope its not so painful to get it unstuck
