Am I the only one?

Am I the only person on here that has never measured their junk? I've been married to the same woman for 40 years and have never felt to need to whip out a measuring tape. As long as my wife was satisfied, " And she had been!", What was the point in measuring? I don't really understand men's obsession with length and girth.

Speculating:

It might have something to do with competitiveness (either with other men or with onesself).

Or just wanting to know stuff. We keep track of our weight, height, age, just record-keeping.

I'm with Livingston. I never gave size any thought at all. Like height, there's not much you can do about it, so why waste energy obsessing about it?

I never measured prior to ED, ED that was the result of an RRP. And I didn't measure for at least a couple of years afterwards. I wish I had so I'd have a benchmark to know if and how much I was losing due to to my new reality. If you're not implanted it can give you that base number to tell you whether or not you need to increase your pumping routine. It can tell you if your pumping schedule is enabling you to regain lost length. It can tell you if you need to be concerned that injections are increasing your girth too much. I don't want more girth or length. Yes I'm sure I lost some length, (I can't tap the cervix anymore), but I don't want any more length. My wife doesn't want more length or girth either. But without "hard" numbers changes are just a guess.

You could have read my mind!! I’ve never measured either. Just knew I had enough to do the job. I was implanted 10 days ago and I still haven’t measured. I’ll just be happy that my dick will be hard and useful again!!

I never measured prior to ED either but once I made the decision to get an implant, I learned from this board you lose size due to the fact you no longer have nighttime erections. My surgeon measured for me at my consultation and I used VED therapy until the surgery to at least keep what I have. I am sure I lost size prior to the surgery since I went three years without nighttime erections. Anyway, I was 5 ½ inches on the day of surgery a little over 6 week ago and am darn close to that now. Surgeon did a great job!

Looks like lots of guys never measured, and I'm one of them. My dick worked before ED just fine and it works just fine now after my implant. I do know I lost length during the ED battle though.

I’ll Dmit to bring neurotically obsessed with my size. Although I used to be bigger than average , my psyche was probably shaped by a few girlfriends I had during my dating years in my 20s. I had several girlfriends that were size queens and even said “ the bigger the better”. While that was the minority of women it left an impression on me. Then in my 50s I had a gorgeous Filipina girlfriend ( mistress) that was obsessed with huge penises. With this insecurity already established I then fell victim to Peyroines and lost substantial length. So I’ve experienced sex with a large penis and now with a small penis. It was better before frankly. Nevertheless I do remain thankful that I can still please women with a smaller dick even if no longer awe inspiring. As a compensatory measure I have really upped my oral game which has gotten much positive feedback.

I have always done a bone pressed measurement on my penis, also girth. I never thought that I had what is considered a large penis. Only after finding Franktalk and see my urologist did I come to learn that I was above average in length at 7 inches. my flaccid length was always short (grower not a shower) so I assumed that I was smaller than average. Now I am a big time shower and I really like it. :) :) It's no big deal to measure your dick, I just wanted to know for my self.

OMG, does it make any difference if you do or don't? It's a personal preference, for whatever reason, and not anyone else's business!
