I joined FT about two years ago, and I have learned so much about ED and its impact on men and their partners. This site has motivated me to get an implant for my ED. Quick background: I first noticed ED in my mid-30s, steadily worsening. I tried pills with limited success, then I did the bimix, trimix path. I initially succeeded with Trimix, but I developed Peyronies disease after several months. In addition, it was starting not to work all the time.
I had the surgery yesterday in Houston with Dr. Clavell. I received a Coloplast Titan 22cm. The process was relatively smooth, and I was happy to be the first surgery of the day. I was nervous and worried about the surgery, but I was ready to solve this issue.
So far the pain has been manageable, a few occasions of sharpe pain in scrotum and lower abdomen.
I liked the professionalism of Dr. Clavell and his team. Dr. Clavell answered all my questions and concerns before the surgery and afterward.
Updated with pictures after the surgery.

Welcome to the group North, you will be glad you made the step towards making your life better. Now it’s the hardest part, let your self heal guys here are going to tell you are all kinds of time lines. The truth is you will have your own. Enjoy the process and take each day easy in a year you will sorta forget about the implant.
Happy days ahead.

Congrats and welcome to the bionic life. I'm sure the knowledge you gathered here on FT was a tremendous help. Wish I had found this site before my implant.

I had mine Tues with Dr Hakky in Atlanta. My pain has been minimal, mostly discomfort. Just curious as to how your experience has gone so far.

12/16 - Removed badges today, everything looked as good as could be expected. I notice I have lose some length, but I am convinced with cycling I will get it back.
I was quite nervous going through airport security, but it was uneventful.
Thank you everyone for well wishes and your advice............Ice is my friend.

Thanks for posting your experience. As of right now, I'll be a 58yo getting an implant with Dr. Clavell in a few months.
How was your flight home? I'll probably have the surgery on a Wednesday and fly home on Friday morning. Dr. Clavell recommends that timing so the nerve block is still working on your groin for the ride.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I am taking your advice and letting myself self heal.
