Couple of quick questions

About how long does the pain in the shaft last after deflation? I understand im still healing but can’t figure out what’s healing in the shaft. There only pain after I squeeze to deflate.

It seems like when I deflate the pump bulb gets about the size of a bouncy ball. About 2x-3x it’s normal size. Is this normal or should I mention to the Dr as a concern? My 6week appointment is in 10 days.

I have an LGX and I had discomfort for some time. I even had trouble with dog ears. Then after several months I started long pump adding cycling. And I still had discomfort for most of the first year. This was not anything that was bad enough to prevent sex. Just a little discomfort. I bought separate pouch bamboo underwear and it really helped. If you are having dog ears you might try adding a pump or how 2 or what ever makes you the most comfortable. I like 2 to 4 in mine as it makes it a lot easier to get out to pee. And most likely I still have a bit smaller flaccid than I would with a Titan.

The recovery of this is different for many of us as are the doctors we use. Recovery can be like joint replacement and take almost a year. In my research on this reading from this board I told myself I was not going to judge the outcome until 1 year after my surgery. Some are lucky and heal really fast and others take longer. And some are luckier with outcome. I was waiting for someone with a Titan to reply but I thought I would see if it might be of help with adding a few pumps. And the underwear was a big help with comfort for me.

Best of luck to you.

don't get me wrong it's not unbearable pain by any measure, and for the most part I've been pain free. It's just when I'm done cycling and deflat close to 0-15% it feels like the cylinders crumple like a straw and poke me from the inside from the base of the glans all the way down the shaft. If I pump up to about 30% to get most of the crumples out i'm usually ok. But since it's a stretchy muscle\meat that won't scab over I was wondering what does healing consist of. I hear some doctors mention that the body will make a "shell" around the foreign objects.

It takes quite a while to fully heal, some guys up to a year. Took me close to that to feel like the implant had become part of me and not feel like a foreign object anymore.
My concern is why your bulb gets bigger as you deflate, it shouldn't change size. That is something to ask your doc about.

Go to the general discussion section of this board and in the documents worth reading thread look for the publication for the "coffin effect".

Good luck.
