Implants and Fibrosis

Good day.
Two years ago, I had an accident resulting in an emergency drainage that left me with scarring and fibrosis in my corpus cavernosum. Both the sponges have fibrosis and are in the upper part/half of my penis (not the glans). The lower part of my penis can still get erect (though it can not be sustained). I have used 5mg and 10mg of Cialis, which had little effect. I have not tried the injections, but I am open to any solution.
A specialist has performed tests on me and concluded that I need to get implants. The specialist suggested the three-piece AMS 700™ Inflatable Penile Prosthesis.
The specialist mentioned above is in Shanghai, where I have worked for the past couple of years. Though I am not questioning his ability and skills, I am worried about the lack of knowledge in China as ED is a taboo subject in the country and has not received as much study and input as from western countries.
In the next three weeks, I am going for a second opinion from another specialist in Pretoria, South Africa. I have not returned home since the accident due to Covid complications.
I have made peace with the idea of getting the surgery for implants; however, I am concerned about how complex the surgery might be because of the fibrosis.
Has anyone here with fibrosis had successful implant surgery?
Could you please share with me your thoughts or experiences?
Your reply will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
