Regain length & girth after implant

Hi Guys,
I was implanted about 7 weeks ago. Just received the green light from Dr to start cycling. What is the best suggestion for cycling exercise routine? How many cycles a day? Daily? How long to hold it fully pumped? I heard about some bending exercises that can be helpful?

For the interest in regaining as much length and girth as possible. I had my prostatectomy about 2.5years ago. I dealt with ED this entire time which has resulted in some penis shrinkage. I probably have lost a full inch which is a lot for me who started with 5.5in. I will try anything to reach my college erection again or close to it. My libido has always been great.

Any recommendations and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Cycle as much as you can stand, start doing the bending procedure and also use a VED as much as you can stand. Just make sure to use one with a ring on the bottom of the cylinder. Mine is 2 1/2 inches wide at the base.

I hope you were using a VED before the implant. They give the surgeon a better opportunity to fit larger cyclinders to regain your length. If not, it's not a disaster; they can still work after you get an implant too, so get one now if you don't have one already.

For now, what others said about 30 minutes of cycling a day probably works pretty well. Though, if you are like me, if regaining your length and girth is very important to you, no harm in execising it for 1 hour+ a day to make sure. Some bending exercises and Perito's THE exercise I got from crazyjoe's post can also be helpful: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18843

You sure about that? I don't think you're supposed to use any of the rings. My patient liaison at Boston Scientific wrote this in an email to me:
If you do utilize a VED, we recommend that you do not utilize the constriction band that comes with it, it will damage your device.

Ok please clarify. When you say cycle for 30 minutes do you pump it up and wait for 30 minutes and then let the fluid back into the reservoir ? Or pump up and release multiple times for 30 minutes?

I am going to go with what ever your doctor has instructed you to do. Doctors and men differ a lot and no need to use one doctors instructions for one man on another doctors patient. After you are finished with your doctors instructions you can decide if you want to use other protocols or not. You can contact your doctor about any of the suggestions made on this thread and if the doctor ok's it then you are good to do it if not follow your doctors instructions. You have an elevated infection rate that was the highest at surgery and is going down over the first year. After one year the infection rate is bottomed out at an extremely low rate for the rest of the life of the implant. After 2-3 months you should be fully healed and released from your surgeons care and you can decide if and what you want to do against your doctors instructions.

About the question of the ring on the VED cylinder I thank it might be in reference to a cushion or sleeve. These are used for comfort for VED users and in this case post surgery are used to also protect the device.

Good Luck.

Regarding using an actual ring, Dr Perito disagrees with Boston Scientific's advice. Maybe they are referring to snapping it off a VED. General use might be different.

Interesting! Though did he only say to use it before sex? Maybe use it for then but there's not a reason to if you're just exercising it will no plans after? I do plan to try it now, since I think I also took from that it traps the blood supply not used by the implant and you probably get better measurements.
