Curve post op

Postby Matthew » Sat Nov 03, 2012 12:48 pm

When I came out of op, I was partially pumped with a 15 degree curve. I was fine with that as I had a congential curve from birth. However, when I pumped unit up fully it went to 30 degrees. I have been pumping twice a day for 3 weeks at almost 8 weeks post op and it is still 30 degrees. It pushes the tip to the outside of the outside tube of bend. This is where the most pain comes from when fully inflated after 30 min. I am told the curve should go away some in time. I sure hope it goes back to 15-20%. With a rock hard implant penis, it is a little uncomfortable navigating PIV. I think if I could stretch another 1/2' it may straighten out. I sure hope so.

Matthew,
You stated in another one of your posts you have Peyronies ... so isn't that where the curve is actually coming from?

Did you discuss with your URO this condition and what he would attempt to do to correct it? In some cases the URO will offset the curve with RTE's longer on one side than the other ... but that is something you would have had to agree to prior to surgery.

Yes, I had peyroines. While I have a 15 plus degree bend all my life, when peyoines came in, it took me all the way to a full 90 degree. The dr said the implant should straighten most of it out. It has but not enough to be where I need. 15 degree is fine even 20 but 30 is challenging a little. I suppose I can hit the gspot good cause it is mostly curving up from half shaft out.

Sorry I assumed your curve was to the left or right rather than up ... I'm surprised your URO didn't opt for the AMS 700 CX or CXR rather than LGX.

Hopefully with time the curve will lessen ... I know when max pumped I can not bend mine at all ...
