2 days away from Becoming Bionic

The time has come! Hopping on a plane tomorrow morning for NYC to visit the one & only Dr. Eid to finally Become Bionic!
How I got here: In 2014 I caught a nasty case of meningitis which triggered what's known as transverse myelitis. I was left with a good amount of nerve damage up and down my sacral & lumbar spine resulting in a neurogenic bladder, bowel issues and the dreaded erectile dysfunction.
I found FrankTalk a few months after my hospitalization and have been a lurker ever since. This site has been a great source of inspiration and even though it's taken me 9 years to summon the courage to finally get the implant, I'm anxiously excited about the future. Pills & vacuums have never worked for me, however trimex works like a charm! It's been one of my few sources of hesitation as if the injections are working, why do something so permanent? Most anyone here knows the pros & cons, and I've made my decision.
I'm on the slightly younger side (35 y/o) so I'm very grateful for not only everyone on here sharing their experiences but especially the younger crowd. It's been super helpful to understand what y'all have gone thru to take back control of your sexual health & wellness.
Looking forward to sharing my own journey finally! Advice is always respected & appreciated!

Hey there Friend! My man, I am only days ahead of you. Today marks my 2 week anniversary! And it's going....great!
Now that I'm on this end, I have to say the WORST part was the apprehension. A guy wouldn't be normal if there wasn't an element of fear or anxiety. I sure felt it....the decision felt so, monumental. Not too many times in this life when we realize we are making an irrevocable decision. Bad jobs. Bad wives. Bad town. They call be changed, but not this one.
My friend, I already can tell this is going to be the BEST decision of my life (as so many others here have expressed. They all say "I wish I'd done it sooner", and guess what!
You ARE that sooner!
Assuredly everyone reading this is in agreement on congratulating you on your maturity and your courage. Very best wishes tomorrow for a successful out come and a LONG AND HAPPY sex life!
You're about to seize it!

Hey Amigo. Have you launched yours officially yet? As in sex? If so, curious how it was for you? Or are you still just cycling? And how had that been? Especially the earliest days. Changes in size and ease of activation/deflation? Thanks!

Yes have trialled it ( couldn't wait )
it works great nothing compares to the hardness even as a fit 17 year nothing beats the strength. I'm cycling twice a day for an hour a time did hour and half this morning ad wanting to get some size back but yeah was a little discomfort at first but now hardly any pain at all and get the 6 weeks all clear soon. Second appointment with my ED nurse on Friday. She showed me how to cycle a couple weeks back and just told me to Inflate once a day and deflate but taken it upon myself to do hour sessions.
Healed super quickly.
First shown hot to pump was rock hard and a little painful but a couple sessions in and a bath helps. Now I can cycle with one hand and the bulb and softened heaps so find it very easy.
Change in appearance and size wise I've lost some length and girth but it's early on some people wait 6 to 12 months to get gains back just a slow process but I've noticed a difference already
It curves slightly to the left I think because that's how I had it sitting whilst I was healing and it's stayed that way a little ut hay I have a rock hard working penis I'm over the moon just trying to manipulate the pump lower into the scrotum as its high close to the base ay the moment.
Happy to show and tell pm me

I am so happy for your wise choice of Dr Eid -- I loved the guy and he did a wonderful job! My recovery was nearly instantaneous -- flew back 2 days after surgery and attended a guest dinner very comfortably one week after surgery. Re loss of length, about .4" right after, but have gained that back and a full extra inch since then. Extra girth as well.
Hopefully my experience will be supportive of your decision. If you have any questions ,please pm me.
All the best!

This is most encouraging. I hope to be back in the game by late March (when i’ll visit my girlfriend in Thailand). I will be 10 weeks postop then, and your success has given me optimism that my goal is indeed attainable! Appreciate your reply.
