Well I'm suppose to have a revision in 6wks and just got a moderate case of covid with all the unwanted symptoms in spades. Have any members gotten covid just prior to their procedure? Running this by my doctor but anyone else gone down this road? How long did you wait before surgery?

Also the other factor is i just had an Aquablation procedure 9 days ago so my body was still trying to recover from that surgery.

This is more common than you would think. 6 weeks is plenty of time until your surgery. You wouldn’t be infectious at 6 weeks out so it’s unlikely to impact the date of your revision surgery.

If you noticed any symptoms take note of the date. Some institutions COVID policy is a count down since the first positive test. Others factor in the date symptoms began.

If your only positive test is a home test, it may be a good idea to get a PCR test done through a lab so the date of the positive test is established.

But either way 6 weeks out is plenty of time. Just call your doctors office and ask them what their policy is and what you should do.
