New video posted today by Dr Clavel out of Houston. Very interesting video on you tube! I have the classic but my Dr didn’t give me a choice. He said he had personally had some issues with the OT pump and recommended the classic. When a Dr tells you that you just go with it! Mine does quack as in the video but also as in the video with a little music or a very slow pump I can do it without my wife even knowing….. not that it matters to her but like to pump it up and slide in behind her for a hard surprise!! Lol.

Hakky recommends OTR. He claims that the classic has weaker cylinder walls and risks blow out with aggresive use.

Meanwhile, Eid seems to be recommending classic for longer pump lifespan.

Clavell video shows that there are no scientific studies showing lifespan of either model.

For me, if I woke up with either model, then I'm happy.

Before I had my surgery, asked which Titan he recommended and he suggested the OTR. Recall he said there were possible previous issues with the Classic, and that he would install either but recommended the OTR. Thus far, all good.

My surgeon wasn't Dr. Clavel but FWIW, when I asked him about it, he said that there were problems (like pump noise & kinking tubing) which led to the development of the One Touch, which is, in his opinion is just as reliable as the Classic was and that there was no good reason to use the Classic any more.

So, I really had no choice in the matter but I have no reason to yet regret or question my surgeon's decision in this regard.
