Glan enlargement with IIP

My urologist told me I can use a penis pump to enlarge my penis glans if I get an IPP. Does anyone have any information on how to enlarge the penis glans? I had RP. two years ago, and my glans do not enlarge.

I think it's a purely cosmetic issue and am not concerned with it personally but here's a thread that was started specifically on this topic for those like you who apparently think it's important:

I assume you are circumcised and therefore have no sensation in your glans if you think it's just a cosmetic issue.
For those with sensation, there is a big difference in sensation when engorged.

I certainly agree with Bwtbbb -- I went months after my implant with no engorgement and very little sensation. But when I started finding ways to engorge, the sensations went through the roof and so naturally I set out to find alternative ways to accomplish it.
btw, I was the one who started the aforementioned thread and greatly appreciated the inputs from the brothers. For me personally, I find these meds to be approximately equally effective: 40-50 mg of Vardenafil; .2-.3 ml of Trimix Gel; and possibly 200 mcg Misoprostol (still working on administering that one -- though getting some useful guidance from one of the brothers).
Currently I guess I would rate Trimix Gel as slightly more effective than other meds, but dang, is it ever expensive. I am currently searching for less expensive sources -- if anyone knows of one, hope you will share it.
Just my personal view, fwiw.

I'm uncircumcised.... With the penis pump and trimix my glans enlarges and felt ok during intercourse. Two years ago, I had RP for cancer and my erections have not returned to date. I'm worried about the glans sensation and size for her as well as me during intercourse.

I would say your Urologist is referring to the medical grade penis pump + constriction ring solution offered for erectile dysfunction. I would ask them about the constriction ring and if it's okay for an implant.
Beware that constriction rings can cause Mondors disease (blood clot in the superficial dorsal vein), it's recommended not to wear one for more than 20 minutes and only once in an hour.

Where do you get these ideas? I was circumcised as an adult. Trust me I have the same sensations as before. It all comes down to the style of circumcision that the doctor performs. I searched for a doctor that only removed the skin that was affected by my phimosis. That amounted to maybe 1/2" of foreskin..
You really need to avoid making blanket statements as if they are facts.

Wait what? I was circumcised as a baby and my glans is primarily *what* triggers an orgasm due to intensity of the sensation... Nor do i know any men who are circumcised that don't have sensation in the glans (albiet small sample size of maybe 5-10 i talked to about such in my teens 20+ years ago, and adult friends with ed issues.) Hell in my early 20s I struggled with PE due to how intense the sensation was.

agree with phliptrip -- and here's a thought I've had: that venous leakage is an issue of mine with respect to glans engorgement. Of course after IPP, this would only apply to the glans but it can still be an issue. I find that when I lay on my back, the glans is pretty shrunken. But if I lay on my side or am sitting pointing it down, voila -- mushroom!
So I am concluding that on my back, the blood is draining back down. And this also pertains when using various methods of glans engorgement, though the difference is not quite as pronounced. The only way to retain engorgement is with a ring, but I don't like to use them due to the time limit and also seems to lessen sensation.
Just my personal experience and theory-- will appreciate any comments or suggestions. Thank you.
