Was sex better with the injections or implant?

On the injections I found sex extremely good. I could fuck models and baddies for hours and my dick would be huge and rock hard lol. I am wondering will the experiment with the implant be the same? If not, how will they differ?

Definitely with the implant for me. Injections left me achy and made it hard to enjoy it.

Injections made me achy during and even the day after. Getting an implant on 4/21/23.

Injections were good but always a problem getting the right amount as it was increasing every 30 days or so. First few months of the implant were difficult, next 3-4 months were an adjustment period and then after 6 months it’s been the best thing I’ve done for ED in 10 years!! If injections works as they should I would still be using them but they never did. So , hands down all votes go to the implant!

Actual sex with injections were, I guess, about the same as it is now with an implant. I do recall having a slightly larger girth near the base and an engorged glans, which only happens now if I use some method or med.
But I get harder now and it’s got greater length.

But if I was to put sex in context with all that goes with it, I would put the implant miles above injections. The nasty needle process and worry about hitting the right spot but being sure to rotate spots, timing issues, worry about a six hour hard on putting me in the ER, the ever-increasing strengths and doses to remain as effective, worry about scarring (which I got bigtime), keeping it cold during travel, not injecting too often — I could go on but I’ll stop there.

Now, maybe I use something for glans engorgement, then inflate, have great sex, deflate, ho hum… I realize this is more of an answer than you were maybe looking for — please forgive me from not resisting temptation to meander into the weeds.

And I must emphasize that this is just my experience and viewpoint. Others might be vastly different.

I agree with all the comments above, the hardon you get with injections is like those of your teen years and early adulthood. A rock hard dick with a throbbing, engorged glans, which we all have fond memories of. I, being married to a very understanding partner, probably would have stayed with injections longer if they worked well consistently, but that was not the case. When you have more frustrating failures than you have perfect hardons, an implant is the next step. I love my implant, but though I do get glans engorgement, it is not as engorged as the injections gave me. I have not tried, nor do I want to, drugs to improve on the engorgement, because I think the drug will be required in more and more application amounts until it too becomes ineffective. I am now 5 1/2 months out of surgery and my engorgement is getting better and better and both me and my wife are pleased with the results.

Exactly the same for me except at 3 1/2 months I’m not yet loving the implant. Still working through some pain at the left distal tip and other discomforts. Also the engorgement is definitely lacking. TBH, sex with the implant to date hasn’t been all that great. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer. I am optimistic that in due time the implant will be better than the inconsistency and diminishing results of injections. I’ve seen it said many times that it can take 6 months for things to normalize. I expect that will also be the time line for me to arrive at implant nirvana.

Like others here have said, during the injection period, had great sex, would get to my pre prostate cx size and would feel great for a few hours. After about 3 hours, needed a hard-on break. My wife and I would take advantage of the long hard on, but then, as time went on and using the injections too close together was worrisome and did start causing scar tissue. I liked the size and the effect. I am not near as large as I was in girth and about an inch in length. I miss the sigh when I entered my wife, now its not there. But, better to have something to work with then not. Happy to be able fuck endlessly and whenever we want. My wife says she does not miss the size, said the size caused pain, especially with long marathon fuck sessions. Now we just fuck for hours and can do it again as soon as we want to. She may be a bit sore, but not like before with my real size and injections. It is a trade off, but no regrets about the implant - I'd have to say that I wish I were still natural but cancer took that away from me. Enjoy it all while you can...

About 2 years, a hard nodule started to develop and I avoided injecting in that area. It slowly disappeared, but other nodules would start to develop, one seemed to make my dick curve to the left. So I started the implant conversation with my urologist and he agreed. We were hoping for my nerves to heal and natural erections come back, but after 2 yrs, statically they do not.
He had mentioned that if too much scar tissue develops, it may effect the implant and cause permanent curvature etc. That is when I decided to go ahead with the implant. BTW my urologist had nothing to gain, he was not the implant surgeon.
