Surgical recovery advice
So I have a doppler with Hakky on the 3rd to see what’s wrong with my dick and likely surgery on the 4th if as I suspect there is a segment of non-functional/expansive tissue causing the HG. I have a young 6 year old I have 50-50 custody of. She is very physical and active like a healthy 6 year old lol. Should I ask my baby mamma to care for her while I recover? Or should I have family stay with me to help with her? How long until I can take care of her alone? Just trying to figure out the logistics and what to tell her mom about how I need her to take those days/weeks (not good terms and definitely don’t want to tell her about the IPP)

Obvious disclaimer - I am not a Doc and recovery is different for every individual. But assuming you are in my shoes, you are good to go solo with your active daughter after a week. Again, your results may vary - but I don't think you need to budget for more than 7 days. Best of luck and keep us posted!

Very valid concern. I do know that some members have had trouble with smaller dogs jumping on their laps. Honestly, my advice isn't first hand. Our dog seldom gets on my lap & my youngest grandchild is 14.
So here I go. Is there anyway to end her visitation the day before your surgery? That would give you a few days to see how your discomfort level is. Maybe put a trusted family member on standby in case you can't handle it. There is a reasonable chance that by her second visit you'd be in a better position to do the whole custody visit alone.
Any chance of skipping a visit or two. Tell her mama that you twisted your ankle really badly. Borrow some crutches for effect. Wrap your ankle so it looks swollen. If I remember correctly you're young enough to claim a sports or hiking injury.
One of the most painful leg injuries I ever had was when I slipped in some snow & my shin slammed into the rocker panel of my car. I swore that I broke it. Nope.
The care of your daughter comes first. A few white lies to her mother doesn't matter.
When all else fails use 1-800-call grandma.
Good luck.

I assume you're talking about a possible surgery on April 4th, since March 4th has already passed. I also believe that Hakky does penoscrotal (PS) implants which normally involve a longer recovery time than infrapublic (IP) implants do.
I was approved to begin cycling only 1 week after my IP surgery but I wasn't in any condition to handle a 6 yr old kid until after the 3rd wk when I was approved to have sex and engage in other activities again.
Of course, everyone is different but, if you are getting a PS implant, I wouldn't be too optimistic about being able to feel well enough to handle your daugther after only a few weeks.
You don't say when you're time w/your daughter is scheduled but if it is w/in 2 weeks of hour surgery, I think you should ask some family member(s) stay with you to help out for at least a couple of weeks. You can readjust your need for help depending on how well you feel after the surgery.
Good luck!

Re: Surgical recovery advice
All experiences will be different and anecdotal, as you well know.
I was implanted on Wednesday, 2/23. Penoscrotal with a surprise additional incision on the shaft due to scar tissue removal. I iced on my back for the first 40 hours, then flew 4 hours back home on Friday morning. On Monday I was back at work in my home office in sweats, feeling great.
Now that I'm 11 days post surgery, I have been doing everything I used to do (except ride a bike) from that Monday forward (5 days post). I feel I could have easily taken care of a 6 yr. old even on that Monday. You shouldn't ever have to lift her up for anything.
She'll be in school for most of the day, right? Maybe plan some movie times or walks to the park if the weather is nice where you sit and watch her play. Do you have those indoor trampoline/amusement parks where you live? I've told my adult children that I wrenched my back and that's why I'm wearing sweats, they're just easier to get on in the morning. Tomorrow I'll be back in regular pants.

I don't know shit about being a parent but it seems like my first instinct is it's best if the mom can take care of the kid for a little while. You'll be like 60% erect and incredibly sore while making sure a physically active 6 year old doesn't kill herself running around like a crazy kid. I'm sure it's doable but safer and easier to have some time off for you to recover.

I think Jage64 has some good ideas. If you can, take her to venues where she can burn off some energy. Prior to her visit, go to a big box store & buy some cheap kids movies that she might like. Plant her in front of the box baby sitter. Btw, don't let her take the movies back to mama's right off the bat. She'll watch them & be bored enough to not want to watch them for the umpteenth time.
As long as your pain level is reasonable & with some luck in planning I'm thinking this might be workable. Also, careful on the words you use. Kids can pick up new words really quickly. Last thing you want is for her to repeat some implant key words when she gets home. I bet mama knows how to google them.
Again, good luck.
