(Positive) depiction of implant in a popular TV show.

Postby GoodWood » Thu Mar 09, 2023 5:45 am

There is a recent scene from the hit Netflix series “Sex/Life” where a main character shows off his implant in the locker room. Although his friend is unsure, he is proud of it, and other guys there are curious.

A positive depiction (well-hung) of a guy who has addressed his ED (with an implant) feels new. It’s so common that ED is used as the punchline of a joke in popular culture.

This link is for a Twitter post that includes the locker room scene. (Explicit, full-frontal content)

55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

Should read the the comment from Dallas Steele-

“ Great to see prosthetic penis implants, like mine, getting this attention, but sadly this show is adding to the misinformation about them.
A penis implant is NOT designed to enlarge your equipment. Its purpose is to restore function and allow you to get and maintain an erection on demand, anytime, anyplace without the need for oral medications or injections.
Penis enlargement surgery is a totally different thing, a totally different surgery.
To confuse the two procedures as this show does, creates unrealistic expectations for men considering penile implant surgery. It does NOT make you bigger. Most men are about the same, about about 30% actually lose some length.”

Hopefully new shows will show the reality of IPP. I can actually think of a nice movie script around it :D :D

I believe Grey's Anatomy had an episode referencing a penile implant
Born 6/15/74. I have substantial venous leak with fairly severe hour-glassing, but no hard plaques. My urologist is sexual health expert Dr. Laurence Levine who performed a Doppler Ultrasound and diagnosed me with VL in 2020. I also have mild BPH

Great video. Makes a lightheartedness of an IPP.. The info isn't totally correct but nonetheless, its a start in main stream.
