When is a good time to start the perito exercises? I am 5 weeks out from surgery and just started cycling.

In my case, that was in 9 days because I got a infrapubic implant. Penoscrotal patients usually aren't approved to begin cycling for 4-6 wks.
However, you had a sub-coronal implant with a TEP and circumcision which makes things more complicated, especially if the work done on your shaft hasn't fully healed yet.
If your shaft is fully healed, you can attempt it but don't overdo it and stop if it causes you any pain.
However, before you attempt it, you need to consider how to do the exercises and whether you need to attempt to do them at all.
I've watched ALL of Perito's videos, including those specifically about the exercises he recommends.
I tried doing the exercises fully inflated and it's impossible to bend the implant 90° in each direction as he does w/the dildo in his videos.
The best I can do is a bend of 10-15° which I considered a worthless effort.
However, buried in the videos, Perito says that you do NOT have to do the exercises with the implant fully inflated, partially inflated is fine
So, I do the exercises while my implant is deflated enough to easily bend it to 90° in each direction. That's when the implant is only inflated to about 20%, which is actually its flaccid state for me
However, Perito also says that f*cking (and impliedly masturbating) are just as good for "breaking in" (& softening) the cylinders, which is what the exercises are all about.
You shouldn't try f*cking or masturbating until you doc approves you to have sex (probably in just a few more wks) but I think you'll find it much more enjoyable to do them instead of the exercises as soon as you can.
I'm between f*ck partners and haven't been able to do that yet but I've masturbating regularly for the past 4 wks and it's far more fun than just doing the exercises. LOL!
PS: I'm still doing the exercises, just not them alone.

Have you seen much progress with the perito exercises?
So good to see that you have conquered this and are enjoying your life with the implant! Happy for you!

Thanks! I'm still consider myself in "recovery." My procedure was far less complicated than yours and I'm just a little farther along than you.
I can't say if the Perito exercises that I've done have helped or not because, in addition to cycling 2x/day for 1hr/session I've been doing other things like masturbating and using a VED while cycling.
I actually think the use of the VED has "helped" the most because I have measurable evidence of it.
My dick was 5.75" L x 5.55"G preop and it was 5.75" L x 5.75" post op. So, while I didn't gain (or lose any length), I gained 1/4" in girth immediately post op.
About 2 wks ago (2 wks after I was approved to have sex), I also started using a VED on my inflated implant. I didn't ask my doc for permission to do this. I just decided to do this on my own based on what I've read about it.
I use a 2" VED tube for 10 mins @ 5hg pressure, which is a very short time and low level of pressure.
I started doing this 2x/day while cycling but that caused my dick to get a bit too sore, so I only do it 1x/day while cycling now.
My dick now measures 6"L x 6" G when inflated. So, the use of the VED for just 2 weeks has apparently already increased the size of my implant by 1/2"L and an additional 1/4" G (or a total increase of 1/2" G).
I'll continue to use the VED during my recovery but do not expect or need much more "growth" than that. My doc told me that I could reasonably expect all the growth that I've already achieved post op so far.
Any more will just be gravy.
6" L was a psychological (ego) goal of mine because it's (incorrectly) considered the average dick length. The average is really only about 5.5". Now that I've got 6", I don't have to "worry" about that anymore.
My girth was never a concern because I was already larger than the reported 4.5"average and at 6"G it's now 33% larger than that. Now, it'll just boost my ego, when someone says it's "too big." LOL!
