I did when I was 31, I had it done because I believe my penis was holding bacteria under the foreskin and giving my wife problems, even though I would always throughly clean it when I took a shower.

I had tried to get it done when I was 22 at my second duty station at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland but the doctors didn't want to do it because they were afraid of all the blood vessels down there and it could be a messy surgery.

The doctor at Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Florida did an outstanding job, he never said anything about being worried about how much blood there would be.

I had it done in 2013, so at 57. I didn't have the super long foreskin that is generally thought of. I could easily see the skin that was causing trouble. Since it was in the transition skin between the inside soft skin & the external skin. I only wanted that removed. That meant that less than 1/2" of foreskin length would be removed. Laid flat, that was a little less than 1" of skin. My foreskin still covers my head when flacid. Erect its in the vicinity of my glans. It took me a few doctor interviews to get one that would do it the way I wanted.
My worst problem was that the incision spent most of its time without the head holding it in an expanded state. Thus, I had quite a long recovery where my scar tissue needed to be stretched over the head. That caused discomfort for a long time.
It solved my minor case of phimosis. Overall my recovery wasn't as bad as the 2 guys that I knew of that had it done. No regrets.
