Does having the IPP make your dick colder or is that engorgement dependent?

Shit, mine gets so cold I can walk around at “cock”tail parties and plop it in people’s’ drinks instead of ice cubes, chills them right down.

Sorry, I am just teasing you. Yes, you’ve lost warmth from blood flow in the corpora. But the fluid in the IPP is body temp around 98-98.6 F. Any difference between before & after surgery is so minimal that I’ve never experienced it.

I just notice a vast improvement in hardness. No deterioration in temperature.

Yes it did happen to me. When at max inflation the blood supply seems to be cut off and I will cool down. Doesn't take long. If you put a tight rubber band on a finger or toe for example. This did improve with me as I restored some size loss. And you can inflate to 90% or so for sex to keep warmth. At least that is what some have posted. I first noticed it when I was doing long pump adding inflations 3 months post surgery. May have happened before that but my memory is not able to help with that. If I fall asleep with max inflation and wake up I will still have a cool penis. Sexual stimulation may also be a factor. Or more accurately the lack of. In the absence of increased blood flow caused by arousal the inflated cylinders can restrict blood flow enough. For whatever reason this is like a lot of things and improves over time.

Edit to add that I still have some engorgement when aroused.

I saw this question raised several times before I had my implant surgery and began to take notice of the warmth factor of my dick, I found that in normal flaccid condition my dick usually felt cooler than other parts of the body. I understand the normal circulation in a flaccid dick is not that great, just enough to keep it alive, I guess. When I had an erection, then my dick felt warm. I think this is normal, at least it was for me.

Now with the implant, my dick is cool to the touch, but does get a lot warmer when aroused.

Here is what I have been doing. I always like to be as clean as possible, so I am attractive for oral sex, so I go to the bathroom, take a leak, pump up then wash and rinse in the bathroom sink with nice warm water, I probably do this for about 30 seconds, maybe a little more. Then it is off to get aroused and it is as natural as it can be.

I haven’t notice any change in how warm it was before the IPP. I’m telling you, if mine was cold, my wife wouldn’t let me come near her! Lol

I've noticed that some of the reports of coldness come from guys who have had prostatectomies. I wonder if the prostate gland plays any role in keeping the penis warmer

I've cautioned members to be carefull comparing mens experiences without considering their health histories. While I haven't followed the "cold dick" comments. You might of found the common link.

My wife says, "no" after fondling it. I will say, "yes" if I've got the staff in the air in the fan... it gets cooler, prior I couldn't stay hard while it got cold from like say the fan or air conditioner hitting it. Now I can stay hard while it's in the fan and it is def colder in that circumstance than I've ever felt it prior.
