first test ride

As of right now I am 2 weeks and 5 days post-op. I never was in really bad pain. I didn't swell like some others I've read about. What little bruising I had is almost gone. I let out a little fluid a few days ago because it was still too hard to pee. Then three days ago I was laying in bed and I decided to give it a couple of pumps to see how easy or how hard it would be. I pumped up about 5 and then went to 10 pumps one thing led to another and I was up to 60 pumps. I don't know if they all went in. Since then I've pumped every morning and I'm not in any pain. I'm still a little tender but ok. Yesterday I told my wife what I have been doing and that I wouldn't mind messing around but I couldn't do any hard pounding. She said I don't know if it's a good idea. Later she said "I'm thinking about your offer" but we never had sex.

My question guys is it too soon to try some easy intercourse?

I am scheduled to go back to the doctor's in two weeks for training. I talked to one guy that had sex with his implant 3 weeks after surgery but it seems like 6 or more is normal. But I can't guarantee I'll take it you advice and please I am not trying to brag about my healing. ;)

Although proceeding gently is most certainly prudent, i’d simply ask the doctor his opinion. Different doctors, different recovery protocols. Why take chances?

Ask the doc is the best answer. You really shouldn't be messing with the pump w/o doc's permission.
Most say 6 weeks, but some let you go earlier. Me? I wouldn't.

I was approved to have sex after 3 wks post OP. I felt no pain but there was a tender spot at my left nut that didn't go away until wk 8. I felt "ready" to start having sex then.

Only you can decide if it's "too soon" or not to have sex at 2 weeks.

As for me, I'm now10 wks post OP and my 1st "test" run was yesterday which I reported in my journal thread.

My partner worked it hard and it performed admirably. No complaints. I'm going to have another test run w/a different partner today and expect no less. :)

Why not compromise?
Nice long BJ ;)

Can't think oral would hurt the device or your recovery...and you could go slow and stop if to much pain

My my you are a busy young man ;) Also thanks for showing the rest of us that you don't have to give up on sex when you reach a certain age and part of you body doesn't work any more. :D

Talk to your doctor.

I didn't listen to mine. Just had sex today it was amazing. My wife's been playing with it for weeks. And today she paid for it, lol.

I was cycling and she was playing with it a little to help me relax from the pain (and on scale to 10 I would say it's about a four, if I play with it a bit move the meat up and down rotate it around, it drops down to a one or two until I give it another pump... About 45 minutes and she started getting a little more aggressive with the play and one thing led to another and an hour and 45 minutes later, oral, four positions, aggressiveness ive not shown since my teens, etc... Uh zero regrets. I probably have headboard dents in my wall. I need to get a platform bed. Do I hurt? Yeah I'm pretty damn sore. She's walking funny. Pretty confident that we both pass the cardio and pulmonary test we need for the bariatric surgery we're getting later this year

Seriously though you should listen to your doctor they give you the advice they give for a reason. I had penis scrotal surgery because I'm a lardass and that's usually 6 weeks till usual sexual clearance and supposed to have sex. My stitches healed a while ago and they're pretty comfortable now... But I'm sure I should have listened to the doctor regardless. I'm bad at directions sometimes.

Especially when it comes to sex. We have like seven kids counting the adopted couple... Mostly because I'm bad at keeping my dick in my pants... I don't think after the any of the kids were born we ever made it to the suggested time before she has sex again. Shrug.
