Is there any reason for waiting weeks to cycle?

Just curious if anyone knew of any reason why some Dr's make their patients wait weeks to cycle?

EID says that they were taught to wait weeks in medical school but he realized waiting resulted in scar tissue growing over the eretile bodies and has his patients cycling at 3 days.

Eid is smart. He saw the cause/effect results. My opinion is that on the whole, the more skilled surgeons are following Eid's lead. But maybe not to the 3 day timeline.
In my surgeons practice, I think its a timing issue. He has days set aside for office appointments & days for surgery. He has a large practice that does other work than implants. He is split between 2 hospitals cause he does work for the local VA. Its only my opinion on this but I suspect that his 15 days to start cycling is needed to find a day that is available.
Reasons for delaying longer that 2 weeks? My guess would be pain, excessive bruising or maybe an adhesion. Btw, I've been surprised that Eid can hold to 3 days with most of his patients. He must have a trick that he uses. Over the years that I've been reading FT. I've read of several men that couldn't manipulate the pump at 4 weeks due to the pain. Some have reported pain fondling the pump at 6 weeks. Lots of mystery for me on this subject.

You are correct that it depends on the surgeon and the patient. Doctors are different in the way they do the surgery. Men are different in the amount of work that needs to be done to place the implant.

Bottom line is you picked the doctor for this and that doctor cut you open and knows more about what was done than anyone else. You trusted the doctor to do the surgery and you should follow your doctors instructions for you not another doctors instructions for someone else.

As a side note Eid permits men to cycle after day 3 if they can. It is not a hard line that they have to. He uses surgical glue to seal the incision where other doctors do not. What else he does inside I do not know. The time to worry about activation wait times is before surgery when you are picking a doctor. My doctors wait time was 3 weeks and he said I could start at 19 days. My local doctors wait time was 8 weeks. My locals doctors business office advised me that results were so poor the many of the men had the device latter removed. None of these local doctors did replacements as they are more difficult. That would be the reason I would guess for the removal as the doctors just did the first surgery and no replacements or repair. A lot of difference in the level of health care for men in regards to location.

“Many men had the device later removed”.

gawd. wherever that place is, i want to stay far away from. Nightmare scenario. A lifetime fate of ED.

Is there any reason for waiting a few weeks to cycle? Well, I'd imagine given that you just had a major surgery on your dick, that you probably wanna give it some time to heal before you start fucking with it. I didn't start cycling for 35 days and that didn't cause me any problems.
