extreme glan sesitivity first week post op

Postby Hillywilly » Mon Apr 10, 2023 10:08 am

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone else had encountered very sensitive dick head the first week of surgery? It kinda feels like the slightest touch causes an extreme rush of pleasure that is almost uncomfortable in intensity.

Hi Hilly….
I just posted below to Aussie….. Your surgery is very new… Unfortunately, glans are very sensitive and to me were extremely painful. Read below and everyone’s advice about the Aspercreme. I doubt you are clear to take baths yet…. When you are clear, the baths help dramatically! Hang in there and just work through the glans pain. As I said, I speak with my doctor frequently about this, and it also depends on how far in the glans the cylinders are placed. It does get better. The best thing is just to let it hang and don’t cover it with anything in my case, that was the best…. An exposed dick! Good luck…

Hi Aussie,
I’m not sure if anyone totally answered your question. I am 11 month post implant. Glans pain is very common with these surgeries and it can last a very long time to heal with pain on and off. I still have some pain that comes and goes and speak with my doctor frequently about it. It also depends on how far into the glands the cylinders are. A lot of nerves there that need to get used to an intruder. A lot of people use the Aspercreme. Also, hot baths to help soften everything. I was so sensitive when I first had the surgery, I could not even have a sheet on top of me. I cut a blanket in half and totally wrapped it around my penis standing straight in the air. You’re fairly recent with your surgery and I think the glans are the worst for the recovery. Hang in there because it does get better, but it can take up to a year for everything to really calm down. Even though you hear, six weeks, three months, six months… Whatever… I think a year might be the magic number. It’s kind of ironic… We pay to get hard, but we want everything inside to get soft… Lol… Good luck!

I would say what you’re experiencing is quite common post-op.

I am 5 weeks post surgery. The glans is still sensitive. It was much more sensitive in the beginning for about 2-3 weeks. After I have started cycling it has improved but still far from normal.
