Hello all,
For all of you that have an implant can you please share your experience with any loss of sensation or if you feel numb? If have read that some people don't feel any sensation after the implant or feel numb. Kind like having a dildo. Also, some people Say they have to sit down when they pee. Why?
Regarding cycling how long it is required 6 months or more?
Thanks
loss of sensation?
Re: loss of sensation?
Numbness isn’t unusual. It can take several weeks to start getting the sensation back, and it may be a gradual thing.
Radical prostatectomy in 2002. Used injections for 20 years. Implanted (infrapubic) with AMS 700 on February 10, 2023.

IDK why others do but, at home, I always pee sitting down at home. It's easier and there's no risk of making a mess. Out and about, I stand up and pull out my junk to impress anyone who's sneaking a peek. LOL!

No right answer. It depends.
See the response that I posted in the following thread which address this topic: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21792
Age 73. Started taking 5 mg Cialis daily in 2000. Minor ED started in 2021. Major ED problem started in 2022. Coloplast Titan (20 cm w/1cm RTE) implanted infrapublicly on 01/24/2023 by Dr. Edward Karpman (El Camino Urology Medical Group, Mt. View, CA).
Re: loss of sensation?
I had infrapubic and Definitely had a numb area around incision and around the left side of the base of my dick where the tubing runs for several months. It got better gradually and by 6 months all the feeling was back. Sensativity has been an issue with me in my glans for many years and is no worse or no better since implant. I’ve always had good sensation along the shaft until I started using a VED for 3 months prior to surgery. During this period I lost probably 50% of feeling in shaft…. May have been using too much pressure…. Immediately after surgery during first few weeks I had very little sensation along shaft. By the 3rd week when I used it the first time I had maybe a little sensation but was very little and it was very difficult to climax. This all got very gradually better over a 6 month period where I would give it all a 50% improvement. After this it seemed to start getting much better quickly and now at 11 months im back to as good sensation as I can remember in prob last 2 years.and have been able to climax 100% of the time almost at will, almost like when I was younger. Maybe some of the issues I had were related to injections…. Back before I was implanted…Not sure… just love that it’s all getting better
