8 weeks post op yesterday.

I had little to no bruising, very little pain (only Tylenol and Advil), cycling at 4 weeks and everything looks great. No catheter, no drains, no problem peeing immediately after surgery. Didn't have to stay in the hospital (but Dr. Clavell gives you that option if you'd prefer it). I flew to Houston from CA for the surgery, flew home 40 hours after surgery with very little discomfort due to pelvic nerve block. While in surgery, Dr. Clavell noted some scar tissue in one tunica that was limiting the dilator from getting all the way into my glans, so he cut into the tunica under the corona and removed that scar tissue on the fly. Come to find out he wrote a paper about this technique he pioneered.

His staff is delightful, he's easy to talk to and wants to get you back in the game ASAP. I appreciated that he has relationships with Coloplast and Boston Scientific, so he can recommend and install the Titan or AMS line depending on what you want or what he thinks will be best. Many docs offer only one product, everybody gets the same thing whether or not it addresses their needs best.

To be perfectly honest, I've had routine dental work that was more painful than this.

I can highly recommend Dr. Clavell and his staff.

Jage64, above, and i were implanted by Dr. Clavell within just a few weeks of each other. I’m now 3 months, 1 week postop. I couldn’t be happier. I’m still cycling and am observing improvements in appearance and sensation as time moves forward. Very optimistic.

There’s a pic in this thread taken at about 10 weeks post op. My girlfriend did the honors of pumping me up one handed to about 60% (shown in the photo).

Outstanding result, doesnt even look like you have an implant. Were you this girthy before or did the implant increase that? I have read different opinions on girth: Some say it increases after implant and some say it gets less. I myself dont have too much girth so was wondering about my result.

When fully aroused i’m girthier than prior to the implant. In the photo i guess i’m mildly aroused, just being playful. When things are getting intense, such as when my girl is sucking me or giving my a hand job, just prior to orgasm it has that “throb” and appears round, purple in the glans, and veiny. Unaroused, when looking from top down and pumped-up it’s wider than before.

Unaroused and pumped it has that oval look others have mentioned. No blood underneath in the spongiosum or in glans causes this. Kind of flat on underside. I consider that physical therapy mode and so it’s different than play mode. Arousal with some blood flow makes all the difference.
