Recovery from implant
Recovery from implant
I am looking for feedback from those who have had the implant surgery. I had my surgery this past Friday, April 21st. On May 13th I am scheduled to drive five hours to a conference. Is it reasonable for me to think I can make that trip or will I need more time for recovery than three weeks?

Which install did you have, penoscrotal or infrapubic?
I had Penoscrotal and it takes longer to heal, the scrotum is swollen for a while and it’s uncomfortable sitting in a car seat. I thinking back, I believe it was four weeks for me until it felt pretty good.
The infrapubic approach, you heal much faster and can get back to activities, some guys as soon as two weeks.
Good Luck,

Re: Recovery from implant
Mine was April 12th, penoscrotal and it was cut across and not along the "seam" like it is normally done. I am back to work, went back on the 24th which is about a week and a half. I do a lot of driving during the week about 200 or so miles each day and haven't had any issues so far. I'd say as long as most of the swelling is gone and you take some extra breaks along the way you'll probably be ok.
