dribbling

I am 3 weeks post op with a LGX 3 piece.
It's getting more comfortable but still somwhat stiff while flaccid. I haven't activated yet.

I am dribbling a little after I pee. I actually had to go back to light pads for a business meeting.

I had a prostatectomy last August but had very little incontinence problems afterward and stopped using pads witih a month.

The dribbling I feel is due to the persistent firmness and not being able to "shake it" after i pee. The PA at the doctors office suggested kegels.

Will the firmness subside. Has anyone experienced this?

Think you’ll hear that this is very normal. I have a Titan and struggled to get the last of the urine out after voiding. There’s a lot of swelling along with the stiff tubes and being inflated. All of this should resolve itself as things get broken in and you start activating. Getting deflated will help the most. You will also learn to live with the fact that you’ll rarely ever piss a straight out the center ever again!! Lol. One day it comes out to the right and the next it may come out to the left. Some days it actually comes out straight out the center. I’ve found that a few pumps after total deflation helps straighten this out.

Have a titan as well and yeah, until I could deflate fully and give it a good shake, i dribbled a bit if I wasn't careful. Now I usually don't.. I just kinda snap it downward abruptly and when it stops the dribbling doesn't happen afterwards, but deflation and a good shake or hard shake definitely helps the issue.

I was advised by a urologist (two actually) to press upward on my perineum to assist empyting the pipeline between bladder and exit. Also, squeeze the penis to "milk" out any uring remaining in the urethra.

Can't hurt to try! Thanks!

My stream was really strange those first 2 months. I'd find myself pissing sideways or the stream divided in two.

Fortunately that corrected itself at about the 2 month point and all is good now. I do dribble a bit if i don't squeeze and shake it hard. Don't know if that's implant related or just being 63.
