First deflation pain

I went for my 2 week follow up yesterday. They checked me out and all looked Good.
They then tried to deflate me. I suppose I was only 40% inflated. Wow that really hurt a lot. I was screaming. No one has ever mentioned this on this forum before so I did not expect this.
Apparently the deflate buttom was below the scrotum incision.
I am OK today but man that really hurt.

Nice everything looked good. Yes, the first deflate. I hurt so bad I had to stop doc. Once they pulled me off the ceiling doc said it can wait. Left me inflated until my 5 1/2 week visit.

I was left about 70% inflated after surgery and at my 2 week follow up, I stood in front of doctor, dropped trou for the exam. He examined my dick, bent and moved it around and checked the placement of the tips, all with no pain or discomfort. With no warning he took hold of my scrotum, positioned the bulb and firmly started very firmly pressing the deflate button. OMG! I couldn't decide whether to pass out or throw up or both. It hurt so bad I had to grab his shoulder to keep from falling down.

If I really push my cycling to the limits it even hurts a bit when i start deflating after an hour... So I usually deflate until I start feeling the soreness, then stop wait 30 seconds and then finish deflating.
The first time was pretty sore, but not screaming pain, but it certainly was tender.

I was fortunate. Though i put up with the hassle of being inflated 50/60% for 6 weeks, that first deflate didn’t hurt a bit. I was figuratively and literally relieved. It was the pump-up to max that was rather uncomfortable.
4 months in now. All good.

Members have posted that it is wise to save a pain pill to take an hour before that visit. Makes perfect sense to me. Remember, in the priority of things to treat. Pain is seldom at the top of a drs list. Its a lot higher on patients list.

Yes it hurts. But I told my wife for enduring that pain in order to please her I deserved a special treat such as a long blow job when I get my dick back on June 2. She was in the room when I was deflated and witnessed it all She agreed to reward me after June 2, she has not given me a blow job since before we got married. So there sre rewards coming to me for going through all this pain.

huh.
I was released to cycle at 4 weeks, and deflation was a pain-free celebration day. I could feel all parts of my pump from the beginning, and could easily identify the deflation button from the moment I took the wraps off. I just moved the pump over to where I wasn't pushing on my healing incision, pressed the button and felt the MS pump vibrate, indicating fluid was going back to the reservoir. I never have had any pain deflating, and after 60 minutes at max inflation I welcome deflation like a cool summer breeze.
