Resvoir herniation

Postby Hillywilly » Fri May 05, 2023 5:25 pm

Do you any of you guys know of this phenomenon? I don't think I have it but I got kinda sore in my resvoir area at the gym today after overhead pressing 95lbs which is really light for me.

How soon did it take everyone to get back to 100% activity? Anyone else experience resvoir pain or worse yet resovir herniation?

From what I’ve read, herniation mostly happens within the first month or so, maybe 6 weeks max. Usually caused by vomiting or straining since the reservoir isn’t fully “sealed” in place right away.

I wasn’t comfortable lifting or squatting for over 6 months. I was probably being over cautious but didn’t want to mess things up. Had twinges of discomfort at the reservoir for several months but all is good now
