Difference between implants

Hi guys I’m heavily considering an implant.

After a bit of research I’m starting to figure out that, probably, every surgeon will push for the brand that is more economically advantageous for him.

While I want to pick the implant that is better for me

My undersatanding is these are the choices

1) 2 pieces AMS Ambicor

2) 3 pieces AMS 700

3) 3 pieces Titan Colaplast

4) 4 pieces Rigicon

I have to add that, when flacid, my penis is very short.

If I completely stretch my penis starting from flacid it won’t get as long as when it is full of blood.

So I have to keep this into account when choosing the implant.

I’m quite interested in Rigicon for the lifetime guarantee.

And I was told from Antonini in Italy that, with him, Titan and AMS have just a 5 years guarantee that to me is quite a deal breaker to be honest

Can anyone explain to me the difference among these implants? I’m planning several consultations so I need to do my homework better

I just started seeing what the Rigicon implant is.
I see they make both malleable and inflatable devices.
I wonder if only the malleable implant has a lifetime guarantee?

From what i understand you should go for the AMS 700 LGX because it extends by 25% helping patients maintain length. Rigicon Infla10 AX also does the same.

I have read that the doc usually induces an artificial erection before implanting to size you correctly

1. The 2 piece implant does not have a reservoir. The implant is partially inflated all the time and you have less fluid to add. So the erections at max will be less than a 3 piece. Not really a good option to restore any lost xize or even keep current erect size.

2. AMS has different 700 series devices. The CX, CXR, and the LGX. The CX is advertised to expand in girth but not in length. It is stiffer to straighten curvatures. The CXR is the narrow cylinder model for men that have scare tissue that prevent the use of the larger diameter CX and LGX. The LGX expands in diameter and length and is a softer cylinder.

3. The Titan is the most rigid device over the AMS cylinders and is the best at straightening curvatures. They also have narrow cylinder
models and they have the longer devices than the AMS 700.

4. These have the same number of parts as the Titan and AMS 700. To call them 4 piece would be counting the cylinders as 2 parts where The Titan and AMS 700 count the 2 cylinders as 1. Rigicon also has 3 different models. You can go to the Rigicon web site and read about the different models. As post there is one that is like the AMS LGX with length and girth expansion. I have very little information on the Rigicon devices.

Good luck with this.

Find a surgeon first that’s good.

Second figure out do youbhave girth penis or a skinny one? If it’s girth at all then you need to do colonplast. The amd you will be like a pencil rod

There is a bit more to it than that. The 18 cm Titan has a lot of girth. More so than the 22cm Titan. And the 22cm Titan is very close in girth to the 21 cm AMS LGX. Then only information I have found is in the 18 and 21 cm LGX and the 18 and 22 Titan in table 1 of this publication. Even then the differences are only .1 to .2 cm. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5654325/

I personally wouldn't use the length of warranties in my decision. Especially if the longer warranty is from a smaller company. Frequently a small company will offer a better warranty hoping to get more market share. If they can't get enough share of the market to be profitable then there is a risk of the company closing. Closed companies don't normally honor warranties.

That is totally untrue. At 7 months post surgery I reached 6" of girth with my AMS CX. Yes, I was 6" pre ED also. The most likely outcome is your girth will be similar to what you had before ED. If your genetics/tunica will allow a girthy panis. You'll have a girthy penis with either brand.

Recently a member asked about men with an AMS & 6" of girth. Several men replied. I'm not the only one. The OP was scheduled for an AMS & had a lot of girth proved by pictures. Post surgery pictures clearly showed him at or over 6".
