Has anyone here with rheumatoid arthritis been advised not to get a penile implant? The Coloplast website mentions lupus as well as some other autoimmune diseases where careful consideration must be taken before deciding on getting an implant. Are there any RA implantees here that have had an implant for some time?

Hand strength might be an issue. One should have the strength to squeeze the pump bulb and squeeze the release/deflate button

Thanks, LS. My RA is under control thanks to a 4-drug cocktail and my hand strength is fine (I lift weights on a regular basis). I plan on asking my rheumatologist but was just wondering if others in my situation had these discussions or experiences.
