What kind of blood work can I do for Infections. When I feel my scrotum I don't feel my testicles I really gotta go deep into it to feel it. its like some fluid around it the whole time I was thinking it was hematoma but I guess not. anyone please help me suggest the blood work I can do. im 15 days out of surgery. I have extreme pain cant stand or walk from the strotum pump stuck with my tissue wall. When I feel the scrotum it feels jelly like. Im also constantly checking my temp no fever yet. But its hard to tell cause im on 2 painkiller every 6 hours.

Most common is to check for an elevated white blood cell count. Not always perfect but a common test for other things like an infected appendix. Might not show up though if the infection is sealed or enclosed in a capsule.
