reservoir moving

Postby oldbeek » Mon May 22, 2023 12:19 am

AMS 700 lgx, I can feel the tube to the reservoir next to my abs. Going straight put near the bottom of my rib cage on right side. Is the reservoir migrating? On a preconnected kit, how long is the reservoir tube?

Don't know about the kit. My reservoir has moved a little over the years. Although I'm certainly no medical professional, I don't think it's cause for alarm. Good luck man!

Oldbeek, my revision reservoir was placed in my lower abdomen and sometimes I can feel the tubing just below the beltline but no movement. From my understanding the reservoir moving is not very common but you're more susceptible during the first 6 weeks which is why the Dr. has patient on lifting restrictions no more than 10lbs because pressure on the abdomen can cause reservoir to migrate. Once the healing and encapsulation takes place it becomes lodged in placed.

Lmcatman I see in your signature line you've had several Titan revisions and was wondering what has been the most common failure, tubing perhaps? Pump?

Maybe it has always been there.Recently went from 172# TO 159#. I was digging a 200 ft long trench. I was feeling around for aches and pains when I noticed this straight hard line up my stomach.
