Any Experience With Narrow Based Implants?

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with these? Can you still have sex? I worry the erection is too short. 2 months cycling now but little change. I’m not sure why an implant would cause me a micropenis? I was 4 inches prior.

Gland engorgement is poor even with ED meds. I’m guessing a VED could not help with this? I tried cycling and using a ring from the VED. Hurt a little and really no change. Thanks,

Nathan

H i Nathan,

Can you re word the question, i cant tell for sure what your asking. When were you implanted, by who etc… I have never heard of a narrow based implant, what did you get.

If you lost length that usually means poor sizing. But if your only two months out then its too soon to know.

Hey Nathan, I remember reading a while back where a member had his narrow cylinder device replaced with the regular size device. I cannot remember the details. A search might find the thread. I will try to remember to look for it latter. With a bad infection that is not acted on early nothing can be put in for months until another attempt is made. This is what causes the size loss. The thing is the narrow cylinder implant is a means to recover over time size so that a future implant can be a regular size device. I look at some of your previous posts that I missed before. That shows you have an 18cm Titan which is a decent size for length. The Titan NB cylinders are available in 11, 14, 16, and 18cm lengths. So you have the longest NB cylinders available. And the Titan cylinders are the stiffest and best for breaking up scar tissue. This will take some time though. I did not have your problems and I had size gains past one year. Keep up the cycling and follow your doctors instructions the best you can. I told myself I would not judge the outcome for 1 year post op. Yours may even take longer. The thing is to do the cycling work your doctor prescribes. The 2/3 rule is 12cm bone pressed length or 4 3/4". That is just ball park and it could take some time to get close to that. The Titan NB is advertised with 17mm diameter. So you seem to have a device with the size to be able to have sex. Maybe not now but it seems really probable for the future. And the thing is you are a young man and future replacement surgeries should produce gains as well. Not only with the girth of a regular device (21 mm) but also with longer devices. Again cycling work as per your doctors orders is really important and Keep at it. It will pay off.

A narrow based is reserved for cases of infection or severe corporal fibrosis, I had both. I believe the cylinders can be exchanged after a year. I wish something could be done about gland engorgement and I’d probably be 4 inches.

. Trimix Gell inserted into the urethra will swell your glans. Get it with a prescription.

Is that available in a pill? Blind and can’t self administer. Hence one reason for implant. I’ll guess I’ll find out if sex is possible or not very soon. If it doesn’t work, I’ll be disappointed. Didn’t have all these surgeries for nothing.

I saw in your previous post that you had not yet had penetrative sex ever, are you having an opportunity to soon? Exciting if so!

From what I know. Both the Titan NB and AMS CXR are termed small diameter implants. The girth expansion of CXR individual cylinder is 14.5 mm, while the NB cylinder is 17 mm. As mentioned, they are used in cases of heavy scaring and narrowing as well as for swallow narrow crus. The CXR stands for Controlled Expansion Restricted. It is difficult to find information on either.

I think info is scarce because they’re not used too often. What’s the normal diameter of a regular cylinder, 21 Mm? If so, that’s only 3 MM difference. I do have an opportunity to try it out, just doubting it will work, which will make it seem like the surgery was pointless and I’ll feel lied to. Thanks all

What do you mean you don't think it will work?
