I was on the fence, but a conversation with my gf yesterday sealed the deal for me

My gf doesn’t know at all that I’m considering an implant (she isn’t even really aware of my struggles with ED since I haven’t talked about it) but I had a convo with her yesterday that tipped me over the fence. I’m going to need an implant. And soon.
Yesterday she brought up the fact that she’s really unhappy with the side effects with birth control. Weight gain, skin issues, mood changes, etc. And since we only see each other about once a month (we’re doing long distance currently) it doesn’t really feel worth it for her to be on BC regularly.
That means that we’re going back to condoms. And oh boy, if I struggle with ED without a condom, it’s 2x worse when a condom is involved. Just thinking about it gives me shudders. Looks like an implant is on the menu! Dr. Clavell is going to be my doctor, and I’ll go with the Titan. Wish me luck fellas.

Perhaps mention to her other forms of BC. IUD, for example.

I have not used a condom since getting my implant, but am certain that the falling off problem I had using condoms with an erection that would constantly collapse (sometimes even before putting the condom on) will be a 100% non-issue.
My implanted penis, when fully inflated is as thick, long and rigid as it ever was before ED. I predict you will have no problem putting on or keeping on a condom.

Always hated using a condom. I was lucky that by the time my ED started condoms weren't needed. Now I'm going through bladder treatments I have to use a condom. Glad I'm implanted so it stays on, but I find it wants to roll up at the base.
Long distance relationships are tough. Just my opinion, tell your gf about your ED. If you do get an implant you're going to be out of commission for a while.

Good man, Get it dealt with and don't wait around.
I'm 6 months in and I LOVE this implant.
Rock hard erections on demand for as long as you want, anytime you want.
Excellent choice on your Doctor, BTW.

Almost 2 months post op. Like you I was on the fence, not wanting to give up hope that somehow, magically, I'd get normal erections again. When I discovered that implants were a thing , it still took me 3 years for my urologist ( not Clavell) to submit the paperwork documenting that all other ED options were exhausted. The best , most important decision I made was blowing up my surgery with the local Dr. I was going to and making an appointment with Dr. Clavell ! Two months later I was in Houston under the knife. For any men reading this ...THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION YOU MAKE IS THE SURGEON YOU CHOOSE ! PICK A HIGH VOLUME SURGEON ! You'll get the best results with a HV surgeon. They've done and seen it all . They know how to navigate any problems they might encounter. They know how to get you sized correctly for the biggest and best implant your anatomy will allow . Being on the other side of surgery is incredible. I'm excited for you ...good luck

Journeyman is right. Practice makes perfect. Repetition develops skill.

Journeyman speaks the truth.
When buying Real Estate there are 3 things to look for.
1. Location
2.Location
3. Location.
In Penile Implant surgery its,
1.Surgeon
2.Surgeon
3. Surgeon.

I understand reluctance to be open with your lady about your ED but I am so much more relaxed and in tune with mine after I told her of the struggles. She had her own issues with pain, my size, ageing effects, etc. So she was way more understanding than I anticipated.
You might want to clue her in to your struggles with this issue and how you are solving it. If she is worthy, she will be proud of you and encourage you to get the solution you seek. If she isn't understanding, you would probably want to know that now, but I wouldn't be afraid of that at all. I don't know many women leaving over ED being solved. Your implant will be all you have been seeking and then some. You will soon be dialing it up to her preferred hardness on demand, with stamina measured in days, not minutes. Then dial it back down when she's done.
Good luck to you both.

Thanks man. Honestly, I think she would take it really well and be supportive. The issue is all on me and how scared I am about being vulnerable with people. The times I have opened about stuff to her she’s been very supportive and made me feel more comfortable opening up to her in the future. It’ll probably take me some time before I can (and likely after getting the surgery to actually tell her). But I like the idea of us discussing what her hardness preferences, duration, etc. would be because one of my goals is to cater to her sexual needs as much as possible.
