Implant seems to have failed 10 days after surgery

I am 10 days out of surgery and my implant seems to be broken already. I cycled it and suddenly the pump became very soft and easy to press, the gurgling sound when pressing the pump really hard, which wss there from the beginning, became way more prominent. It doesn't inflate any further.
I am just devastated, I didn't even get to use this thing. I was hoping to lay off revision for years, but now I have to go through all over it again, besides the costs, it's also the fear of infection and additional size loss.I just feel empty right now

What has Dr Hakky said about this? Or the manufacturer's Patient Liaison (who might be more accessible and perhaps some help in contacting Dr H.)

It's not broken, it's just new. I remember feeling like this and thinking how terrible it was. I don't actually want to bet anything, but if I were to, I am incredibly likely to be correct in a month or two you'll be doing fine and will know it. Takes patients.

Swiss I feel for you... I'd be sick too . However I see some things going for you that makes me think you'll be ok . 1) Dr. Hakky is one of the best high volume surgeons . He had to of tested your implant before he closed you up .... 2) You had the Coloplast Titan 22cm implanted in you . The 22cm is what I'm focused on because it's the biggest implant size that all 3 components come complete from from the factory. Once you get to the 24XL and bigger , the surgeons have 3 SEPARATE components that they have to splice the tubing together, potentially, giving you multiple failure points . I believe, like others , you're gonna be alright. I'm rooting for you my brother

When I had my first implant, there were certain positions with the pump that would cause the pump to be very soft to press and no fluid movement. It could be as subtle as pulling the pump up instead of away from me, hard to explain, but very very subtle changes in position would make it work or not work. After a little while it became second nature as to where exactly I had to have the pump for it work.
It freaked me out at first, but then quickly became a non-issue. I'm sure you have tried pumping it up a million times since your perceived problem. But, if you haven't tried pumping it at a different angle/position/whatever, then def try.
Funny enough, after my 2nd implant, I have absolutely no issue with the pump at any angle/position. I suspect that there are just unique pump/tubing scenarios for each patient and also each implant with each patient that can cause something like this to happen.
I wouldnt be surprised if Hakky sees you and he can inflate it fine. But, risk of premature failure is always a risk.

Holy crap, hope Dr. H can get it fixed for you without another surgery. They do inflate every guy before closing up.
