Surgery 2 weeks ago only.
On the right side about 1 cm above the base, it feels like there is a slight lump there in the plastic or whatever part of the implant is there? And then about 1 cm along from that lump the cylinder doesn't feel like it's inflated out properly there, like it goes ever so slightly in, not as it does on the left side where I can tell the whole side is inflated ok, only partially inflated obviously since I'm only 2 weeks out. What could that be?
I'm to go in to see Doc on Thursday for my first appointment after the op.
Is this kind of thing normal or should it be totally smooth and fine right from the get go bearing in mind no cycling has occurred yet etc.
Feeling stressed about this.

Just hang in there Campfire, see what the Doc says on Thursday.
I don't know which implant you have but for the Boston Scientific AMS 700 CX and LGX there is a training video on YouTube that gives tutorial on how to inflate and deflate and also goes through troubleshooting to try and fix problems.
Here is the video if you have the AMS, the troubleshooting is at the end of the video.

Thanks SW. I have a coloplast 20cm with 3cm RTEs.
It shouldn't feel like that though should it? Even if only partially inflated and no cycling started yet?

Probably not, but since you are two weeks out, there could still be some healing in your Penis shaft. Mine had a lot of bruising on the sides of the shaft and the glans. Hopefully it won't be anything.

The thing is I can tell it's not bruising in that sense. It's the plastic, I can tell when i push it in. This will be a nightmare if it is a problem, cause I have to travel in a months time too and will be gone for a year. Beginning to wonder how screwed I am.

Sounds like a dog ear to me. I have the same ‘kink in the cylinder’ or dog ear on the left side base. About 1.5 cms from the base. This is a known disadvantage of coloplast. It is not a defectZ it will go away on some more inflation.
Just relax and wait out the recovery period.

on a 700lgx preconnected kit with pubic installation there is tubing in that area wrapping over the top of the penis. That is what I have. Also the folding (dog ears) of the heavy material of the titan that you have. Calm down, I think what you are feeling is normal.

Thanks OB. Weird isn't it how you can start stressing so fast. Hope it is just what you say.
Thanks Atul, let's see what he says on Thursday. .

I’ll chime in and agree with atul. It sounds like a garden-variety Titan-krinkle. I’ve got it too at the base, right side. Totally flaccid i can push my finger on it and it feels like a bent drinking straw. As atul mentions, if i don’t want this i give a few pumps to smooth it out.
As for your other concerns. Yes, talk to your doctor, but so soon after recovery you should withhold all dark imaginations for at least 2 months. You’re healing. Got a ways to go.
Lots of us, fresh from surgery, spot or perceive something that surely must bode poorly and we’re “that guy”. The one whose surgery was botched somehow.
6 months later, they’re posting here about having the best sex of their lives. Hang in there!
Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.
Re: A Bit Worried - Can Feel Something At Base of Right Side
For what it’s worth I’ve had my implant done exactly 3 weeks ago and I just noticed the exact same thing that you’re describing as of yesterday. Reading everyone’s replies eases my mind quite a lot. I wasn’t really worried to begin with, but yeah I noticed it too. Right side at the base, it’s a bit raised and feels like a bent straw. I’ll start cycling in maybe 10 days or so, once the suture wound heals and I’m assuming everything will slowly sort itself out. Just wanted to reply and let you know I’m in the same boat, 3 weeks out. I have the Rigicon infla10x but they don’t seem vastly different. Hang in there, soon it’ll all be worth it.
42 yo Implanted 27th of June ‘23 w/ Rigicon Infla10X in India, 22cm w/ 1cm RTE by Dr Gupta. On TRT for 10 years. Pills work sometimes & other times don’t. Finally made the decision to fix it permanently.
