CX and/or Titan length expansion
CX and/or Titan length expansion
Due to Peyroines I’ll most likely be looking at the Titan or the CX. Should one expect any length expansion from these during pumping or will flaccid always equal erect length?

Re: CX and/or Titan length expansion
For me, totally deflated and not aroused: 6"
Aroused and fully pumped: about 7.25"
So you'll gain some length when pumping and getting aroused, just not as much of a difference as pre-implant

Re: CX and/or Titan length expansion
I had wanted an LGX but my dr will only use CX if he needs 21cm or more. I didn't have any peyronies.
The length growth of the LGX is well documented in an oft quoted study. About 3.5cm for the 21cm LGX vs .7cm for the 22cm Titan.
I had a long talk with his nurse that does all the follow up cycling teaching. She claimed to me that the CX will stretch but not as much as the LGX. My guess is that you have to be really dedicated to cycling to get the CX to finally stretch.
I'll pump mine up till it won't take no more. Every few minutes I'll give the bulb a few baby squeezes. This seldom causes any tip pain. But many times I'll fall asleep watching YouTube at night. After about 2 hours the discomfort will wake me up. I can't help but think I'm slowly stretching my CX.
The number of full pumps required has slowly increased from 1 full squeeze to taking 5-6 now before it will only take baby squeezes.
I'm sure that some of that additional saline is going to girth. But I'm hoping that in a year I can stretch my CX by 2cm. Half of what the LGX will stretch seems like a reasonable goal.
My current flacid length is maybe an 1" or so less than my erect length. I don't measure at this point in time so there is a chance that my flacid is very close to erect.
Btw, I'm here to tell you that the CX will get dog ears. At least in the early stages. I only press the pump release, squeezing my shaft doesn't make much of a difference in my final flacid size.

Re: CX and/or Titan length expansion
Neither the CX or Titan are designed to expand in length. That being said, over time the cylinders will soften and you'll likely get some length expansion. Just like trying on some nice leather shoes that are a bit tight to begin with, but stretch and relax the more you wear them. They're also not designed specifically to expand, but they do with use.
The CX and Titan will be more rigid throughout all inflation levels than the LGX. It's the 'expandability" in length of the LGX which affects its rigidity. The LGX is certainly rigid enough for penetration, so there's no worry there. I consulted with 2 different doctors that stated clear preference for the CX or Titan over the LGX. I've only had personal experience with 1 of the 3 popular options, but they've had hundreds of experiences.
I chose the CX because (unfortunately) my penis will spend 99.9% of the rest of my life in a flaccid state in my pants. When it's flaccid and put away, I don't want to think about it, I don't want to feel it, I don't want to hear it. I felt the CX gave me the best compromise of all the options. It's not as girthy as a Titan, but doesn't 'dog ear' or crinkle. When I visited with my doc a few weeks ago, he pumped me up and said "I can tell you've been cycling a lot, your girth is the same as a Titan". He's right, I do an hour in the morning with VED and an hour at night. So, that also tells me that he knows that with use the cylinders will relax and expand.
However, girth expansion is different than length expansion. There is exponentially more material to stretch and see gains in the girth direction than in the length direction. This is why the LGX had to design into it a length expanding component, which Coloplast has chosen not to copy.
Watch this video by Dr. Clavell, it was very helpful to me when I was making my choice:

Re: CX and/or Titan length expansion
Dr Eid wrote to me once that the Titan can "crinkle" up like an accordion and contract and lengthen during deflation and inflation. Also, I saw pictures on FrankTalk (from a few years ago) that clearly showed an AMS CX at 3.5 inches deflated and over 5 inches inflated.
For what it's worth, then, the LGX appears not to be the only implant that can lengthen and contract. I don't know what it means for this discussion, there there it is.

Re: CX and/or Titan length expansion
How an implant works in the real world is what matters to me. I'm satisfied by my drs nurses statements that the CX does lengthen over time. She has over 12 years of working with AMS implants. Shes seen a lot of results.
I also have read of several long time CX owners that have reported some growth. Just because AMS doesn't advertise it does not mean it doesn't happen.
I'm in this for the long haul. If I get any results that I can attribute to my CX growing I'll be posting about it in a year from now.
The next milepost for me is in mid August. A 3 month checkup with the dr. His expectation is to be at the stretch test lenght. Whether we like the stretch test or not, drs seem to place a lot of value in it. Time will tell.
