Surgery booked but I will hide It to girlfriend

Surgery booked for August 11th.
I did not communicate my decision to my girlfriend.
I won't tell her that I'm leaving to have a penile prosthesis implanted.
We don't live together and i hope i can hide it from her for a while.
but I'll have to justify my absence and subsequent sexual inactivity with another type of surgery on the lower parts.

Any idea what i could say? prostate, venous ligation...?
I know it would be better to tell the truth, but at the moment I don't feel like it. maybe later, when and if I'm better.
I accept suggestions

I can appreciate your desire for privacy and discretion regarding this very personal surgery. In my own case my good friends and a couple of family members knew about the implant.

To others i just explained either i was having “urological related surgery” (let them guess), or “i’m having some vascular issues down below that will be repaired via some innovative surgery”. No more elaboration than that.

My girlfriend, who lives in Thailand, knew i was having surgery for a “problem” i had “having power” (as the Thais refer to an erection). Upon seeing her, 10 weeks later, the truth came out and i was delighted by her enthusiastic reaction. She even initiates pumping now, which i like.

but you’ll have to tell your lady probably sooner rather than later post-surgery. Your flaccid will feel different and if she plays with your balls she’ll feel the pump. My gal has pointed out how she feels the difference between flaccid and hard.

When hard she says it feels like any other hard cock. Whether she’s sucking, stroking, or getting fucked, she says it all feels normal. I’m sure that if she pressed hard on the underside of the glans she’d feel the tips, but that’s not something she does normally anyway.

Just tell her you are having hernia surgery and you can’t have sex for 6 weeks.
Then after you introduce her to your new and improved robocock, then you could tell her the truth.

Here s my two cents knowing women and being in relationships with few.

If she is your "girlfriend" as you have mentioned then hiding his surgery from her is not a great idea.

If explained with the right medical approach( I took mine to consult with surgeon) she is more likely to be supportive. The only question she asked me after the surgeon meeting is if I was doing it for her. I said the truth again...I was taking the risk of surgery for me.not for her.

Post-surgery her care and support with food, driving etc etc and the presence of caring and loving human being is almost essential in recovery. I am on week 5 and trust me the healing takes time.

The greater impact is women are insecure by nature and any information hidden from them causes them to panic and they don't usually forget the resentment. Also, I have learned that they stop trusting on minor issues sometimes. In their way of thinking..the actual surgery might not be a big issue but "why" did you not tell her might bother her more.

Reminded me of an ex of mine. She was happy to take me to a strip club and insisted on I get a lap dance with one of the strippers but months later I sent a friend request to one of her female friend(became our group friend by then) and she was pretty upset about it.

All the best on your surgery.

tell her that you have a vascular problem, the doctors will decide with your permission, what needs to be done, when you return you will tell her that you have decided to follow the doctor's advice to place the implant, at which point she will find the fait accompli , if he loves you he will stay with you, otherwise he will go away

Why would you lie to someone you were in a relationship with? Doesn't sound like a meaningful relationship if you lie to each other.

Good luck to you

If your FT name reflects that you are of the older crowd? I presume that your girlfriend is also. Trust that she is mature enough to understand & accept that you're taking control of a health issue.
I know that many members have thrown their opinion out on the successful hiding of an implant. Honestly, in any type of relationship of very much length that involves very much sex. I just don't see how its possible to hide. True, a few men that get a perfect pump position have a better chance.
If a guy is planning on a malleable. Forget about hiding it. Not many women in a modern society don't know about erections & being flacid.
But if she has a good understanding about what your genitals look like & how yours functions now. She'll notice the change.
Gather the strength to bring her into your plan sooner than later. Women generally don't like deceptions. This would count as a big deception in my opinion. If she sees you taking charge of a difficult problem I suspect she'll think better of you. That is a good thing.

I'd tell your girlfriend she might want to start using a cactus as a dildo ! She's gonna have to toughen up that vagina for the Bionic bombardment she's about to get when you heal up . Good luck on your surgery. Hope everything goes well
