I live in Miami but Dr Perito charges 30k which is crazy, and Dr Clavel is 23k

My insurance is Oscar, so it will not cover that I think. I would need to get new insurance, what insurance plan do you recommend to get approved? I read Florida blue and united healthcare can approve it, but dont know what plans, what deductible, all that stuff confuses me

Is it worth traveling to Texas for Dr clavell to save 7k? I will have to spend airfare and a few day's stay even then is a lot cheaper than Perito

I could finance it with carecredit as I have 25k limit, but id rather not do it, i want insurance to cover it as is a lot of money

How can I go about guaranteeing that insurance would cover the procedure?

I'm tired of living my life worrying about erections, i havent been in a relationship in over a decade, im a good looking guy who is on the spectrum and my performance anxiety is horrible, cause autistic people are very prone to anxiety in general, i also seem to have a physical issue apparently

What insurance do you have? I only have like 30k in my bank account. I'd rather not to almost empty all my savings. I can also finance it with care credit but is a lot of money

Hakky in Atlanta is also probably one of the top 5 implant surgeons in the US, and is closer to you than Clavell. He should also be cheaper than Perito

I don't know if I should do it next year or wait 5 or 10 years. I just started using trimix, it works but it requires some arousal, also is annoying to inject and risk for priapism, is also very inconvenient as the medication requires to be refrigerated

If I were to do it lasts year at 40, assuming the implant lasts me the 15 years, I'd be 55 when I need another. This assuming insurance covers it or I pay cash

I could also just keep using trimix even if is inconvenient and annoying and see how many years i can get out of it, eventually going for the implant at 45 or 50

By then tho, I'll be much older, way past my prime, etc

Did he do yours? I'd rather get it done by him even if it means travelling. He is type that is more open about doing it even if you have never tried injections, but all you tried for many years was pills.

Other surgeons are more conservative and may deny you, or tell you to exhaust other options like injectables, etc. He also speaks Spanish, which I like as is my first language.

- makes dating difficult as where are you going to inject, public bathroom? her bathroom? your bathroom? more planning
- you trade one fear for another, maybe your fear was and is not getting an erection, now your fears are will I miss the injection and not work? and if it does work will i get priapism? so now you have to carry 2 syringes in case one fails
- you look like a drug addict at least thats how i feel with these syringes

Or you can consider Dr. Billy Cordon who is right there in Miami and is the first choice surgeon of Dr. Eid after him. He operates out of Mt. Sinai.
I think both Dr. Clavell and Dr. Cordon are equally good and high volume with very low infection rate.
Also, note that Dr. Perito does infrapubic implantation whereas the other 2 do penoscrotal. You might want to research about the 2 methods and decide if you have a preference.

I had Blue Cross PPO. My out of pocket maximum was 2500$ but somehow i was only charged about 1200$. I never asked why they did not charge me my full out of pocket

I had this insurance through my ex-wife who works for a good pharmaceutical company and has good benefits. Also, she chose the best option available in insurance options as she has medical issues and also on my request as I could foresee me getting surgery.
