Palpable Tubes Running around Penis?

Is it normal to be able to feel or see the small tubes circling your penis? I’m referring to the tubes that carry the saline from the reservoir to the pump to the cylinders?

I can feel what I think is the single tube running to my reservoir. Its on my left side down close to my pelvic bone. I can feel it where it crosses my shaft. My surgeon did an excellent job of routing/hiding the tubing. Even the tubes at the top of the pump don't show. To be exact, I actually have to search a little for them.
To answer the inevitable question. No I do not need to hold them to pump. Thumb & forefinger works just fine.

All...pretty much agree with Gt1956. I can feel the tubing that runs from my reservoir to my pump...just below the skin from my shaft over my pelvis and into the space of Retzius. And while the majority of the remaining tubing is just the right length to connect both cylinders to the pump, I can feel these (fairly prominently) at the top of my scrotum and where they attach to the cylinders. Initially, I could definitely feel them during intercourse and, at times, it was annoying. As time passed, however, they have become less and less noticeable. Just my 2 cents...

Was your surgery infra pubic or penoscrotal? Infra pubic is where the incision was above your penis and penoscrotal the incision is in the scrotum below your penis. With infra pubic the cylinder tubing is above and goes down around the penis to the pump. The really good doctors are better at hiding this. Low volume doctors not so much. Like with the other components of the implant men adjust to this over time.

Dr Hakky did mine. Infra pubic. I don’t feel or see any tubes at all except in my scrotum at the pump. I’m 6 weeks out and other than the pump it’s pretty much undetectable.

I don't see or feel any tubing, other than about an inch of the 3 tubes coming out of the top of the pump in my scrotum before I lose them into my body.

The pump cannot be seen either, but can be easily felt as the hard 3rd testicle.

That’s great to hear!

Slightly off-topic, but kinda related : Do you, implanted guys, get slightly "veiny" when pumped up? Similar to natural erection? I know the implant itself has nothing to do with veins etc, but i was pondering if the fact that a body expands inside the penis and compresses the tissue around would cause an effect similar to what the body naturally does... ?
