Fills more when standing/kneeling

After a lot of troubleshooting, the implant seems to fill more when standing/kneeling or to the side.

As soon as I am laying down, some fluid seems to go out of the device. This happens when inflated or deflated. Aroused or unaroused.

Any idea what this could be? I can lay down then stand up or go to the side and feel some fluid going towards the glans.

I don't think this use to happen until I had issues with the right side graft thickening.

Any ideas?

I would say that while standing the muscles around the base or deep inside are more relaxed allowing you to pump it up more maybe? As far as starting to lie down and feeling fluid moving towards the glans that would most likely be the muscles down there contracting and squeezing fluid out of the lower area and up into the tips, which sounds like you're not getting fully inflated. If you were fully inflated I think you'd feel more of a pressure at the tips in the glans. In any case I don't think you should feel as if the fluid is just sloshing around, back and forth.

Thanks for your response.

I can feel the fluid sloshing back and forth when moving around. When inflated I can stand up and feel more girth come into the device. When laying on my back, fluid goes slightly out of it - this is the only time/position this happens.

Deflated, seems to do the same thing, less fluid in it when laying down.

Also, probably why I get auto fill in my sleep, I sleep on my side.

Really no idea what’s going on.

AP,
I have the same issue. The doctor said it was "auto fill".
He recommended that after I deflate, squeeze the pump bulb firmly once, to reset the valve to the closed position.

Thanks guys,

I am confused, if it is due to engorgement, why does it happen when unaroused too? And, why does it happen when deflated?

I just want some answers, it would help me understand things. I would also like to know if it is related to the backfill issue I have when standing.

One thing to add is that, it was not like this until I started having issues with the graft thickening/retracting on the right side.

I know it sucks to hear this especially since what you've been through already, but maybe you might have to speak to an expert again.

No fluid should leak out of the device, from either tube no matter which position. If one side was leaking, it would stay that way as they both use a common valve.
I know when I'm fully deflated it looks like road kill, almost disturbing really. At 10-15% inflation nothing is uneven between each tube.

Clutching at straws but could it be nerve damage only effecting one corpora? As in youre only getting bloodflow to one side? Or scar tissue on one side? Just guesses.

Thanks, then I am gussing that I am deflating but 10-15% is backfilling.

Trying to get hold of a surgeon who can teach me how to deflate properly and also check a few things.
