Dried blood spot on right side of glans

:ugeek: [*]I was implanted 16 days ago. All has seemed to be going well enough, but I do have a concern about a black spot on the right side of my glans that does not seem to be healing/going away much at all. I remember it was like this on both sides from day 1 of the surgery and the left side is about 90 percent healed, but this one on the left not budging. I know this is where they inserted needles/stitches(I can see the tiny sutures in the middle of the black mess) to pull the cylinders into place and it is the famous "snake eyes", but everyone here seems to say theirs went away in a few days.

Any ideas what this is? I do have some general pain in the glans, particularly worse at night for whatever reason. I have my 3 week follow up next week and they said everything should be about conpletely healed by then, but I don't see this area making much progress at all. While it has not gotten worse to my knowledge, it has also not gotten any better.

Most "snake eyes" pictures I have seen (as well as my own snake eyes) have been closer to the center and further up on the glans than what is seen in your picture. That would be a secondary question to put to your surgeon.

Sorry I don't have any answer to your primary question.

I did my implant 6 days ago and my spot is barely noticeable compared to your photo. I guess your Dr will be the right one to validate unless it's something common.

The pain in glans at night is something I'm experiencing now and it's disturbing my sleep! I feel that it's related to blood flow as I used to get erection while sleeping eventhough I was told that I should not expect morning wood post implant! I will ask about it and along with a recent pain at the pump that seems like having seroma around it!!

Thanks guys. I just worry about the very assymetricAl healing left side of glans versus right amd worry there is a cylinder issue.

I am awaiting call back from my surgeon to discuss.

it simply remained under the first layer of skin..like when you give yourself a hammer on your finger..the skin in that area will fall off and together with the stain

Thanks Rov. I talked to my surgeon's nurse and she said basically the same thing and did not seem concerned as long as I had no infection symptoms which I do not, so I hope this is in fact the case.

They will see me in person in a few days so obviously will have a clearer picture then... it will hopefully clear up a bit more by then!

I had that, a tiny spot on one side, and slightly larger on the other. I think, just guessing, the cylinders are pulled into place with threads through the glans . . . . needle an thread kind of thing? The spots went away. I really don't know, there are a lot of experts here who might weigh in.

Yes, they anchor the cylinders in place through the glans with needle and thread as you said. I know i was aggressively sized (24 cm AMS with 2 cm RTEs). That is probably adding to some of my overall discomfort, but it is still very early so I am optimistic it will all work itself out over the coming weeks and months.

I have not done any "official" cycling since I was asked not to until after my 3 week follow up, but was able to fully inflate and leave for about 15 minutes. Actually very pleased already. Slight loss of length (1/2 an inch) but I came in expecting a lot more loss initially. I am sure once I am clear to cycle, I will get most if not all back. Even if not, I would be perfectly content with a slightly shorter, but MUCH more reliably functioning dick.

I have to admit inflating the AMS was not very hard to figure out, but finding that damn deflate button was a bitch the first couple days. Fortunately my wife seems to be an implant guru and was able to find it instantly every time the first attempts when I was failing. It was just extremely awkward to have to yell for her to come help me (Honey, uhmmmm I did it again lol) Happy to report I am now fully self sufficient on both inflating and deflating though!
