Deforming Implant? What's this bulge?

Hello Gents,

I have noticed today a bulge and protrusion at the base of the penis when fully inflated. I've had intermittent sharp pains in this area since the surgery. Few weeks ago before my last check, I felt and hear 3 pops/snaps. Doc and I couldn't figure out what it'd be.

Last night, had a vigorous sex session for hours. Had been sore mostly because I'm still having a problem with the tubing placement being to near the midshaft, which doc says let's wait and see.

Next follow up is in a month, but contacted him and he's going to schedule an appt next week.

For those that needed revisions due to "deformity ", what did that look like???

Help!

This is really difficult to say with just a brief post. Your doctor would be the one to talk to about this where he can see what is going on. I had a 45 degree or greater angle from the base and my penis was straight. So it sounds like your problem is different than mine. Men have posted on this site about the cylinders failing and having a bulge at the place where the cylinder is damaged. Like a tire will with sidewall damage. Another thing that has been posted is that the incision in the tunica where the cylinders were placed will not heal enough. Then will later pull apart. This would be like the casing of a sausage opening and the stuffing coming out. In this case it would be the cylinder. It could even be something fairly minor as an injury that causes blood or fluid to pool. In that case you just need to take it easy and let your body heal and absorb whatever is pooled. Like a blood blister. And it could be something completely different. Your best bet is to try to stay positive and have your doctor look at it. May even need some imagery tests to see what is going on.

Thank you. I've attached a pic. I fear that it's the device bulging like a tire as you said. It's not there when flaccid.

Got an appointment Tuesday.

But for anyone that had a device deform, how did it start?
