Can a bulge work against you?

Have been on a few first dates with the newfound bulge.
I was assuming( still not sure) that a bulge might be one of the factors to help increase a woman attraction. Others ( I have most of them, game, body language, fashion, voice tonality, etc etc in place).
However is it possible that a bulge might signal to her on the first date that I am just a horny man?
Is it possible that it might be working against me ?

I doubt it.
If you're looking for a hookup, I'd assume she wants a horny guy. LOL

There was a post on Franktalk which I cannot find now that gave a link to a story in a magazine that told the story of a man on a dating site. A woman who responded to his post requested a "picture of your bulge". He asked her if she wanted a cock picture and she replied emphatically, "No". She wanted a picture of his groin fully clothed, just to see how much his flaccid penis bulged his pants. (Aside: This, of course, puts "growers" at a disadvantage.)
The obvious assumption is that women expect a man with a bulge is better-endowed than one without, suggesting that the difference between a "Grower" and a "Shower" is not understood by a lot of women.
The point of the article is that women are filtering who they will chat up by the man's pelvic bulge just like men do with women's breasts, hips, legs, lips, etc.
I guess that is one reason the codpiece was so popular in the 15th century. And boys stuffing a sock in their pants popular when I was a teenager.

I worked with a guy that used to joke by saying. Hey stupid, the potato goes in the front.
Over the years for some reason my wife gets confided in by quite a few women. Actually I think by a lot. But she only repeats a few.
I can think of at least two of her friends whose husbands would get on, hunch up & thrust like a rabbit for a minute or so till they were done. If you've ever seen rabbits breed you'll understand. My instructions were that if for some reason if a guy to guy sex talk came up. I was expected to say how well things at our house went if I went slow. Yup, subject never came up & both women divorced their husbands. Who could of saw that coming?
A new friend of hers calls her boyfriend "tiny weiny" in private to her. She isn't so upset that he's a bit on the small side. Hell, he could be micro, my wife doesn't want to hear about it. The friends problem is he carries on about how much he used his big dick on her. She knows what a big dick is & his isn't. She has said her first husband was noticeably above average. As that marriage went on for several years she slowly became non orgasmic. Divorce followed.
Ok, so women do talk amongst themselves a little. Bad sex is judged worse than a short dick. A nice bulge will get a some modest interest in a casual way. Or so a few women have told her. You're not going to seal a deal if you don't show some good male traits.
Btw, I've read that for some odd reason women can subconsciously pick out men that have higher testosterone levels. Interesting data point. I guess you should not worry about a bulge but get your testosterone level up a little.
Wow, so many other confided stories. But enough for now.

Thanks to each one of you for sharing your insights.
I am trying to think on a date why would a well-endowed man(aka bulge) be a negative.
One area I probably made a mistake was not having teasing and flirty conversations during the date.
Meeting a real Latina tonight, a newcomer to Canada..I hope she appreciates real man/woman chemistry and not yet brainwashed by feminism and all other isms that Toronto women are full of.
Seeing another girl on Sunday(who is heavily flirting with me on text, after I changed my whole persona and started teasing her frequently).
Fingers crossed and implant inflated

Although it’s impossible to speak for women a nice bulge is probably a factor but far from critical especially as we get older. I grew up in the late disco era where a bulge in designer jeans was very helpful. As a man now in his 60s I still notice women checking out my package which is substantial ( unfortunately it’s all balls and no dick). Unless it’s embarrassingly large I can’t thing of a reason why a decent bulge is a negative. Even women who don’t like the sensation of a large penis inside them are fascinated with large penises for foreplay, oral and even cock worship ( subtle or overt).

If it gives you any idea I put a shirtless pic after a run where my bulge is clearly visible and I have gotten matches telling me how fine I look in the picture, asking about my dick etc.

The "size" question comes up on Reddit literally 2-3 times a week. The women consistently reply that average is ok or even preferred. Sometimes you need to believe what they say, not what your male mind tells you. At a basic level they want a dick that doesn't hurt them, works as it should & theoretically provide the chance for children.
Captain1117, you list some traits that you think you have down pat. I read them & didn't think much of them. Did you get that advice from women?
Women have instincts. It's a basic brain programming thing. Despite being married forever, not on the prowl & I have the dad bod to excess. As I'm grocery shopping. Frequently I need to get past or make room for a woman with her cart. Generally I will say excuse me with a sincere tone. The reaction from lots of them, even younger ones is in a receptive tone.
My own wife is less receptive. Well maybe after these years she's become immune.
In my opinion, women like a partner that leads. Don't confuse that with being aggressive. A man that can steadily find his way to work. Dave Ramsey used to say "leave the cave, kill something & drag it back".
