Cycling 3 days after surgery - Dr Eid - “auto-deflation”

Hi all. Got implanted 3 days ago on 9/29, 42 year old, wrote a journal on another post. After having catheter removed and Dr Eid post surgery appointment today, I was told to cycle twice daily for 15 minutes. I was able to inflate and deflate in his office without too much pain (although there was definite penile pain). I just inflated fully where it would not pump further and was at diamond level hardness (10/10) (or at least I thought so). A few minutes later I noticed the erection, though very hard, was not diamond level hard as it had been. I then was able to pump a few more times and got back to diamond level hardness. But again after a few minutes I was back to 8/10 hardness. Is there anything wrong with the device? Is this auto-deflation? The 8/10 is still rock hard, harder than Ive been in years but just wondering. Fyi, I have a coloplast titan.

Mine does the same thing, it's gotta be either what you said (some fluid leaks out of the cylinders back into the reservoir) or it could be that the tunica expands more after full inflation, causing the implant to lose its hardness and require more pumps. The titan cylinders don't get hard on their own, they require the tunica's tension to become hard. So if the tunica gives/stretches some, the cylinders will be less hard.

What you're describing, seems to be the tissue stretching. So, after 15m, you may be able to pump more etc.

Eventually, it will happen less as you max out your gains.

I agree with Aussie… tunica expansion causing it to get softer. You will definitely find a point that this stops happening so quickly. Over time the same thing happens after the initial part you’re dealing with. At first I could only get 6-8 pumps then after a few weeks I was getting 10-12 and so on… now it takes 20 wall to wall and 10 more small pumps to max out where the pump will not refill. That’s when you have reached to max potential of your implant. Even after 17 months it still begins to ache a bit at max after about 15 minutes so feel like the implant is properly sized.
