What implant model is suitable for this size and is there an option to keep some thickness and length at all? Because most guys here with implants have signatures - 5.5 inches, 4.5 inches, 5.8, etc. Thanks in advance
Remember, you are only able to measure the exterior dimension of your penis. The implant goes INSIDE your penis and the interior dimensions of your tunica albuginea and corpus cavernosum (which the implant essentially replaces) are only loosely related to your outside dimensions.
The Coloplast devices are made of a naturally stiffer material than the AMS devices, so is stiffer even when flaccid and has an edge in stiffness/rigidity when inflated which is marginal. All inflatable implants are essentially unbendable when fully inflated, so the Coloplast devices' extra stiffness is pretty much wasted. Nice to have, but no more useful than the AMS' rigidity.
But where the rubber meets the road is in girth. Coloplast Titan is larger diameter than the AMS devices. A larger diameter column has inherently greater column strength and resistance to buckling than a narrower column. This is an advantage as the column gets taller. (Consult any civil engineering textbook for a discussion of this.)
I highly recommend documenting your ERECT length AND girth with photos immediately before any treatment (including implant).
Discuss implant device choice with your surgeon and make sure he/she understands your concerns. Make yourself part of your medical team's decision-making process.
