Blood coming out of dick after peeing

Hey all,

Its been 4 days since I had the foley catheter removed. (implant done Nov 1, penoscrotal).

Everytime I pee since then, I would have a nice painless stream, and then 1 - 3 small drops of blood after.
Today everythings been fine except for my last piss tonight I had 10-15 small drops of blood come out....

I'm gonna call my urologist tomorrow but is this something serious I should get checked out tonight?
How long did it take for yall to stop bleeding after catheter removal?

Edit: I just got out of my bed to get water and some blood came out again. First time blood came out without peeing first. I think my urethra was damaged bad from that catheter.

A few days after my implant, I had bloody urine, which alarmed me. So I called my surgeons assistant, and she assured me that it was probably just a blood clot being passed.

I wonder that you are experiencing a little bit of blood on a continuing basis, but knowing what I know now I would not be too worried. But I certainly certainly surely would call and get confirmation that things are going normally

My pee and blood isnt even mixed. Ill pee first and then have a drop or two of blood come after.
Was your urine mixed with blood or seperate like mine??

Hope it’s nothing to worry about. I didn’t have bloody urine, but the catheter was the worst part of my surgery. Keep us posted.

When using quadmix, I did stick my urethra a few times. Not pleasant.

Separate. Just a dollop midstream. Maybe a teaspoon or so. Kind of held together (congealed a bit) and bright red.

Sounds like the catheter must have scratched you somewhere. Do you remember removal? Was it painful? If the bulb isn't drained fully, it can hurt coming out.
Since the blood comes before/after urine my guess is it's not a bladder issue. Blood in my urine ended up being tumors.
Hope you figure this out.

Update:
They said 'Blood during urination is normal and due to the use of a small hook during the procedure'.
On the plus side my urethra stopped bleeding today. Just was scared last night.

I had a couple drops of blood when I began to pee for the first couple weeks following implant. Presumed it was from the hook they used to gauge length. It went away.

It was exactly this!
Everywhere i read says the blood should go away in 48 hrs.
They should've given me a heads up.
