Thought I was sure I wanted a Titan because of my size. There is a high volume doctor that I saw but he only does AMS. He is a high volume implanter and trains other doctors, done over 7000 implants. Another member recently used him with great results and looks like he is keeping his 5.5” girth at present. I know everyone gets different results but would like to hear from you men that kept 6” or greater girth with a AMS CX?

A lot of guys on FT say its only a little bit of loss and its better to have a working Dick, that stays hard and can get hard when you want it, for as long as you want it or she needs it. That is fantastic and i cannot argue with that. Us Men that's still on the back side have questions and concerns, that's why we ask questions. We just want the best outcome when we do get implanted and make sure we have made best decision based on as much information as we can get. A lot of times that is not from the in office visit with a Doctor. Ive found more information on FT or High Volume Implant Doctors videos on you tube than i have in all the years i have battled ED and the office visit with doctors.

I understand that if you have 5" girth or 6" girth that neither type is going to increase your girth. If you have lost some girth, maybe if the cylinders can expand enough. Over time you might gain some back. But that Is a big Maybe.

Your penis tunica albuginea will determine your girth.

The reason i posted this is trying to find someone that had 6" girth before the implant that has a final outcome of 6" with a AMS CX.


My understanding of the cylinders of both are as follows. Note this is info from a Clavell video on lengths and diameters.
AMS CX
Length comes in 3cm (1.18") increments from 12cm (4.72") to 24cm (9.45")
Cylinder diameter is 18mm (.71") Wide
Circumference is 56.52mm (2.23") around or girth

Titan
Length comes in 2cm (.79") increments from 14cm to (5.51") to 28cm (11.02")
Cylinder diameter 21mm (.83") wide
Circumference is 66mm (2.6") around or girth

Keep in mind there are two of the cylinders side by side inside the penis corpus cavernosum. Two round cylinders placed side by side create a oval shape. You hear guys mention their penis has somewhat of a oval shape after a implant.

If we place two cylinders of each type side by side on a table and inflate the out come would be this.
IMS- 1.42" wide and .71" high oval. The girth around the oval shape would be 3.64"'
Titan -1.65 wide and .83" high oval. The girth around the oval shape would be 4.25"

That's .61" almost 5/8" circumference difference. But note 3.64" is quite a bit less than the 5.5" girth Ive seen that men have achieved with the AMS CX. Again that's because of their penis and its tunica albuginea.

Now sorry for this long update but im a engineer and a little OCD. Can you tell? The hole reason for this post was just to find someone that actually knows by measuring they had 6" or above in girth before the implant and after getting a AMS CX they keep at least 6" or more girth. I have not found this person yet.

The implant only replaces the corpora cavernosa if you’re like and still get a chubby t from the corpus spongiosum you should be close to your pre-operative size.

It’s kind of hard to get exact measurements of that as if I’m of excited I just get hard without the rest getting engorged. In those cases I’m not as big. My wife tells me she can tell when I cum because I get bigger.

It is my understanding that girth is limited to the tunica albican, the tough fibrous sheath that surrounds the corpora cavernosa is as big as it gets.

I’ve had my implant now for 4 years and I have no complaints from me or my wife.

Still early in my recovery. If you do the math, a 6" girth isn't quite the diameter that many people think it is. In my prime I was either 6" or very close to it. I've gained girth since a week after my surgery. This is normal. It just takes a long time to get the implant material all stretched & flexible.

Lots of "if's" to answer your question.

If you actually do the dr suggested cycling?
If you figure out get the most out of your pump?
If you do this for a full year after your surgery?
I think 6" is a realistic goal. At least how things are looking for me now. Sorry, the best that I can do.

I certainly hope that is not the limit. I am getting an AMS 700CX on 11/29, and am starting at 8” x 7-1/2” (with a couple of minutes of pumping). I don’t want to lose all that girth!

I've seen that claim also. I think its highly patient dependent. I do have foreskin on my shaft. That adds a little. Btw, I'm pretty sure that I was at 5.5" or just a touch over at my 3 month check up. I'm not so sure that I was much under 5.5" prior to surgery. Lots of poor info floating around. It isn't worth my time arguing on the internet over it. Done that a year or two ago.
Not going to measure until the 1 year mark. But I do know that I didn't fit into a toilet paper roll when deflated & flacid at 3 months. Take that for whatever you want. I've grown since then.

The difference in fully pumped circumference of a CX vs Titan is very small.

Your tunica albuginea determines the girth of your penis, not the cylinders (for most men). If you have giant tunicas, then you will only get the maximum circumference offered by the cylinders themselves.

My understanding is that the Titan cylinders can inflate to a maximum of 21mm, and the CX can inflate to a maximum of 18mm. That's a difference of 1/8". Double that with 2 cylinders, and that's, at best, 1/4" more diameter with the Titan. I'm sure there's some calculation that would tell you exactly how that translates into one circumference measurement (two cylinders side by side), but it's pretty clear that a Titan cylinder isn't going to magically give you your 8" girth on it's own.

You'll need to do your part to get anywhere near that thickness if the most a Titan implant alone can give you is at the widest point a 5.16" circumference/girth (42mm diameter = 5.16" circumference if your dick was a perfect circle, for CX the max circumference/girth of the cylinders alone would be 4.45" ) Since they are side by side and not a perfect circle, this is where you get the the "flat oval" look of an implanted penis.

TBH, unless someone is studying your penis very closely, I don't think the flat oval thing is even noticeable, at least it's not in my case.

I have the CX, and I have 5.5" of girth that can become 5.75" when aroused. The cylinders are doing their part at MAX 4.5", the other inch or more is all me. I don't even know if I'm getting the max inflation either, my tunica may be restricting full girth of the implant..

I think you very much need to look into this further because 5.5" could be a limit. Before implant I was about 5.7", and after I was 5.5" from the start and it never increased while length did consistently. I was always fine with this and didn't care much, because my length got longer, plus going from 5.7 to 5.5 isn't much, and I'm still planning for a tunica expansion procedure (TEP) in the future, which is something done during implant surgery that increases girth size. But if I was some 6"+ dude choosing AMS might have been a big regret.

Basically, I was 5.7" girth before implant, after getting AMS 700 LGX I became 5.5", and in posts and discussions here I hear about possible limitations with these devices and a 5.5" maximum seems commonly reported. This is all stuff I've read on the internet from other anonymous people so it's not a proven fact but I do think this is important enough and possible enough that you get some info confirming what's true.
