Did you have pain at reservoir site?

Hey guys,
If you read my journal you know you can see a small bit of the reservoir in my groin area due to very low body fat. It’s pretty sore there right now and I’m about 3 days post op.
Just curious if everyone else had pain at the reservoir site when implanted or if maybe my pain is worse because it’s so close to the skin? Hoping this is normal and goes away with time.

Based in my 2X experience, that's normal. Just make sure there's no signs of infection.
It took me weeks before all the different pains or "healing" feeling went away completely. By weeks, I mean 4 to 10. My first. Implant was a really long heal.
Reminder, 3 days ago YOU WERE CUT OPEN AND A DEVICE WAS PUT INTO YOU!

I never felt any pain at the site and wouldn’t know where it was had the doc not subtly pointed to my right side after surgery.

On the right? I’d assumed mine was on the left. I have no idea where mine is.

Thanks guys. I left recovery maybe 70% inflated, meaning less fluid was in the reservoir, wondering if after fully deflating today it completely filled the reservoir making it expand more (hurt more). Apparently I have a huge reservoir with a ton of saline (130 is what Hakky said). I’m sitting here fully inflated now and I don’t feel the pain. It must have to do with the reservoir expanding for the first time as I deflated today. I mean it always hurt a little, but significantly more after fully deflating earlier.

As with others I had quite a bit of discomfort. Especially when getting up out of a chair for the first couple weeks. And yea it is worse when you deflate completely as your stretching the tissue around the resivour…. All normal

@thailandbound - yeah he was standing near my feet when I was in recovery and I asked him how everything went, that's when he told me about the unexpected scar tissue he was able to remove on the fly and sort of halfway pointed at my right side and said the reservoir went in without any issues. I think it is over there, since when I'm in the hot tub and everything is very loose if I go digging around deep under my shaft I can feel the tubes with my fingers on my right hand and they seem to be right of my midline (looking down)
Never any pain, bruising, tenderness or bump, so I'm taking his word for it.

I never felt anything from the reservoir. I think it's on the left, as I can also feel the tubing around the left side base of my penis.

Hey Iwillbeatpd
I had to have a revision surgery because my reservore was so visible
There are pictures on my journal here somewhere. It was as the doc. Said due to my body type, I m not skinny but there it was sticking out and yeh when I was deflated it noticeable in feeling and visibly. When the reservore was tucked in deeper it visibly disappeared but even now I am kinda am aware of it from time to time, but its never an issue just glad its not showing any more.
Keep us posted.

Over the early years I had occasional brief twinges, but nothing to be concerned about. It's been several years since I've felt anytning.
