Bulge Advice **PICS included**

Postby aussiePeyronies » Mon Dec 04, 2023 11:01 pm

Hey guys,

I really require some advice.

As you can see from the pics, this is the bulge I am left with. I think it is pronounced due to the following:

1. auto-inflation, I think the device auto-inflates a bit.
2. flaccid angle, I think the flaccid angle hasn't dorpped, it still sticks out at about 4pm.
3. Frenulum swollen, my frenulum is swollen due to being circumcised. Dr Hakky advised that this is usually due to having a thicker shaft than glans and may be a result of being circumcised with the tunica expansion procedure.
4. Cylinders have not yet softened.
5. Dog ear is pointing out, making the bulge look like an erection.

I know this bulge isn't common, as other members don't have such a pronounced, pointy bulge. It looks like an erection, and this has been causing issues when needing to wear tight clothes. Especially, in serious environments and around kids.

Can you guys advise if you have had anything like this? If the flaccid angle dropped eventually? I am 10m post-op.

I know some of you guys like a bulge, but I really do not. I care more for comfort, I don't need and have never needed a bulge to attract women. I also don't want it to look like I have an erection, especially when around kids and in the gym. I am 35 and very active and have to wear tight clothes for work etc. Wearing baggy clothes every day isn't really an option.

Unfortunately, my surgeon in Australia is of no help. I have consulted with Dr Hakky and just did an MRI, but he is booked out for virtual appointments until end of Jan 24, I might try Dr Clavell.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, this hindrance is affecting my everyday life. Appreciate this site and all the members who come back to provide support to us.

How is your dick positioned in your briefs in that photo? Is it just straight ahead pointing out? Can’t you just push it to the left or right side in your briefs?

I usually just push mine into my right pants leg. The bulge is there, but not particularly bothersome.
I do have that issue when wearing baggy clothes like scrubs, as I can't stand wearing underwear.

Are you certain that it's completely deflated? If so, it looks like surgeon's error.

Thanks for the responses guys.

My implant won't move to the right, when flaccid or erect, it just does not move to the right.

I can position it to the left, but the dog ear still sticks out which looks like a pointy erection in tight clothes.

I am not 100% sure that it's fully deflated, I feel it does auto-inflate a bit, a urologist here did say that the reservoir looks scrunched which could be causing auto-inflation, but advised that it's not worth another surgery to fix it.

It also seems like the flaccid angle on the right side hasn't fully dropped, causing the dog ear (on the right) to stick out more.

Judging from your responses, this is not normal?

That just looks like a big flaccid to me. I have a similar bulge but less prominent than what you have posted.
My flaccid shaft is pointing to the right side always (before my implant it would point left as i had pd as well)

Thanks guys, it's reassuring hearing your experiences.

It's been tough as it makes going to the gym and wearing nice clothes a little troublesome.

I think acceptance and patience is key here, I think I will wait till I hit 1 year post-surgery and then make a decision on whether to even consider a revision.

As a note, this could be the reason someone changes to an AMS upon revision.

I definitely considered this when discussing implants with my doctor.
The ability of the AMS to continue to expand and grow, as well as it's more natural flaccid were major plusses to me.

I think that’s where it stems from. My flacid is almost 7 inches and when I lie on my back. It creases at the base and literally flops left, right, up or down. I was initially worried where my dogs ears would be for that reason. If the dog ears were mid shaft, that would mean 3.5 inches are sticking straight out. I think the helicopter exercises while flacid would be really beneficial for you in this aspect. It’s odd that you can’t bend right, you should definitely be able to just like a normal flacid.

Given what you said, I’d probably end up pointing mine to the left, wear some very supportive briefs like separatec, and even possible a second pain of briefs or boxers over that. I know it sounds stupid, but one layer is to hold your dick to the left, the second pair of coverings is to even out the bulge. If it’s baggy sweats like in your photo, I’d do separtec briefs, then put some thicker shorter on top like fleece( sweat pants like material), THEN wear your sweats. I still think you should explore the helicopter exercises though and figure out why you can’t bend right. Can’t you just create a new dog ear/crease on that part? Once you do I’d think it will allow a bend.

Thanks for your advice man, support during these times really means a lot.

I will definitely try out the helicopter exercises.

My flaccid/erect doesn't move to the right I am not sure why, I think maybe because the dog ear is there at the base. My peyronies flaccid was a bit like this too.
