Perito Exercises

Hey guys,
Just after some advice, I think I will start Perito Exercises soon.
So, pump to max, hold at the base then bend your penis with your other hand (base stays stable) in different directions (left, right, up, down).
Then, do you guys keep adding extra pumps? My issue is, I get to a point where extra pumps will cause pretty bad pain from stretching and I will have to end the cycling session early.
Do you guys also just inflate to max, then keep doing the exercises for a certain period of time? Assuming this helps to stretch and soften the cylinders.
How often do you guys do these exercises and for how long?
